Reflections Eco Reserve was a delight to stay at, Tim and his dog were excellent hosts!

The location is perfect, out of town to not worry about cars and noise but close enough to quickly pop-in to the shops if you need anything. We were surrounded by greenery (that Tim planted HIMSELF) and were housed in the coziest wooden house. Night times were nestled around the fire place.

What a pleasure ti have stayed there. Thanks Tim

Reflections Eco Reserve was a great place to spend three nights on our trip along the garden route. Our hosts were really thoughtful, the chalets are beautifully equipped and the footpaths allow for viewing of birds and three kinds of tortoise. There is an archeological site on the property that you can visit accompanied by the owner. It’s close to both Wilderness and Sedgefield but feels like you’re in the middle of no-where. Highly recommend!

Reflections is a gem. We booked this by chance and were very surprised at how central it was to activities in the area. The number of walking trails, scenic drives within a short drive kept us busy. The host, Tim, was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. As a very experienced bird guide, he was more than keen to take us out to find key birds we were looking for. In therms of the accommodation, it was set in natural bush and well spaced from other guests. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The veranda looked over natural bush and had Knysna Woodpecker right on the doorstep. An amazing place. We will definitely be back.

The stay at Eco-Reflections was really a new experience for us and met all our expectations of wanting to get some rest. The accomodation was great and the only area needing some attention was the kitchen equipment where minor items may make the stay a little easier. Wonderful peace we got and that mattered most. Thank you Tim and Angelique

A lovely setting with wildlife all around. The owner, Tim, was especially helpful and knowledgeable and provided guided bird-watching in the local area. As a result I saw much that I would never have seen on my own. I stayed in a luxury tent which had cooking facilities as well as a fire-pit style braai which all added to the "off-grid" feeling.

Reflection Eco Reserve is a wonderful place for nature lovers and those who feel better when they are far away from roads and towns. The 4 chalets of the property are wonderfully located inbetween two lakes that are part of a national park. As a birdwatcher, I was thrilled by the biodiversity, within and around the property. Tim, the owner, is a birdwatcher himself and was incredibly helpful to help me find the local avian specialties. The chalets are very well equipped and extremely comfortable. As there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, self catering is the best solution to enjoy home-made meals in the heart of nature. No WiFi, but excellent network that allowed my daughter to follow online courses without any problem. Wilderness and the beaches are only 10 km away, as well as Big Tree National Park and its beautiful forest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reflections Eco Reserve. The tented accommodation was comfortable and well appointed. Tim Carr was a superb host and we learnt a huge amount from him during our guided birding excursions. We saw birds we would never have found on our own.
We hope to be back in the not too distant future.

An incredible place which has been sensitively re-wilded and is now a paradise for wildlife. The host, Tim Carr, is more than generous sharing his knowledge and time. Clean and comfortable lodges with an above and beyond breakfast provided! Highly recomended.

Reflections Eco Reserve was by far the highlight of our trip in the Garden route. The experience was beyond our expectations. The sounds and smells of nature just surrounds you. It was our first Glamping experience, the tent was fitted with everything we needed for a self catering in the wild. We loved it!

A peaceful and quiet place in nature. The chalets were well equipped, clean and spacious. The outside deck area was a wonderful space to relax, reflect and watch the birds and tortoises at play. Hopefully the road conditions will improve in the near future.

"Nr1 is definitely the best, closest to the lake as well as most private. Perfectly suited for a couples getaway. People with children should rather opt for nr 2 or 4 as they are a bit bigger upstairs as well as closer to a play area."
