We had a lovely stay, even though the weather was not that great. Location is great, not too far but far enough. Kitchen is well equipped and the cabins are spacious. This eco reserve gives its visitors a lot of info and food for thought regarding conservation. Tim is a great host!

This is one of the best kept secrets along the Garden Route. The owner run and managed nature reserve is a very personal showcasing of destination hospitality their way. They are both passionate about sustainability, rehabilitating the land, open spaces to explore and eco-friendly accommodation. The reserve is within minutes of the fantastic forest trails, bird Hydes, beaches and more but once you drive through the gate, you are transported to an oasis of calm and tranquillity. The lodge is an ECO Reserve, off grid and there is no WIFI. This means you literally get to take time out slow down and reconnect. The accommodation is well appointed, comfortable, and clean. We travelled as a family and took full advantage of the indoor-outdoor living spaces. The accommodation is spacious with three bedrooms, open plan living spaces and kitchen and two bathrooms. You have your private outdoor area with fire pit ideal for evenings around the fire. There are many walks at the reserve and its safe so the kids can go off and explore. The hosts come from a 5-star hospitality background, and this is evident in the small touches and little extras that add so much to the experience whilst staying vey true to the setting and location. Reflections is a gem. We booked this by chance and were very surprised at how central it was to activities in the area. The number of walking trails, scenic drives within a short drive kept us busy. The host, Tim, was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. As a very experienced bird guide, he was more than keen to take us out to find key birds we were looking for. In therms of the accommodation, it was set in natural bush and well spaced from other guests. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The veranda looked over natural bush and had Knysna Woodpecker right on the doorstep. An amazing place. We will definitely be back.

A peaceful and quiet place in nature. The chalets were well equipped, clean and spacious. The outside deck area was a wonderful space to relax, reflect and watch the birds and tortoises at play. Hopefully the road conditions will improve in the near future.

Reflections Eco Reserve was a delight to stay at, Tim and his dog were excellent hosts! The location is perfect, out of town to not worry about cars and noise but close enough to quickly pop-in to the shops if you need anything. We were surrounded by greenery (that Tim planted HIMSELF) and were housed in the coziest wooden house. Night times were nestled around the fire place. What a pleasure ti have stayed there. Thanks Tim

We stayed in one of Tim and Angelique's eco chalets. This was beautiful sited with a spacious and comfortable interior equipped everything you need, a wide deck for those sundowners and a brai area. We were so well looked after. We are birders so spent time in the reserve that they have created and also went with Tim to explore further afield - particularly a spectacular trip through the Swartberg mountains. The reserve is on the shore of the Rondevlei - a wetland site rich in birdlife. We had a wonderful very happy 4 days in this splendid reserve.

Is a beautiful house with all you can need for self catering. Like the eco style living off the grid with own power and water. Only suggestion I’ll have is to have a build braai area.Good family time with no TVs around only good conversations and bord games on the deck. Just need to watch out for all the spiders.

Reflections Eco Reserve was by far the highlight of our trip in the Garden route. The experience was beyond our expectations. The sounds and smells of nature just surrounds you. It was our first Glamping experience, the tent was fitted with everything we needed for a self catering in the wild. We loved it!

The stay at Eco-Reflections was really a new experience for us and met all our expectations of wanting to get some rest. The accomodation was great and the only area needing some attention was the kitchen equipment where minor items may make the stay a little easier. Wonderful peace we got and that mattered most.
