The Views is a High class Hotel in the Wilderness that has fantastic views. I did not stay there but had lunch and dinner there and this review is about that experience. The view from the dining room is spectacular matched only by the quality of the food. The service is impeccable and its is very affordable of course for foreign tourists. We both had Kingklip (R265) which was just out of this world prepared with cream sauce. As a bonus they have a spa on site and for a reasonable cost we spent the afternoon there and I had a great massage. The hotel is next to the parasailing take off area and it is fun to watch those.

Thé hôtel is very well organized, in a lovely location and the colleagues in the Hotel couldn’t be more helpful .. just to mention a couple Garth on the front desk absolutely charming and Adrian in the restaurant! However all the colleagues showed a genuine interest and wanted you to be happy ! Take a sea view room if you can to fully appreciate the beauty of waking up and seeing the sea .

Views is a beautifully maintained hotel in a fabulous position above the ocean. Our sea facing view allowed us to watch at close hand pods of dolphins swimming a short distance off shore. The sound of the waves was a delight. The beach below stretch’s for miles. We saw some swimmers at low tide but personally I wouldn’t recommend unless swimming near the life guard station when it is manned. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. They make a big contribution to the enjoyment of staying at Views. We had 2 well presented tasty evening meals. The restaurant makes the most of the fabulous views. Breakfasts are of a similar high standard and cooked to order. Early morning tea or coffee will be delivered to your room at a prearranged time. Really everything is done to enhance your holiday experience. Thank you Garth for helping us when we arrived late and tired out. Adrian for being so helpful. Vanessa and all the breakfast staff couldn’t have done more for us sorry I don’t have their names. I don’t usually write long reviews but feel that everyone working in this marvellous hotel ensured we left after 4 days wishing we were staying longer. Can’t comment on gym or spa but I presume they are of a similar standard

Absolutely wonderful Hotel ,Suite with Stunning Views , Staff are very Friendly & Helpful, Food here is also Excellent . My only criticism is the service is shockingly slow, As I said the staff are wonderfully polite & friendly but the staff are not trained you could have 5 different waiters / waitresses come to your table and when there’s an issue supervisor/Manager of Dining is absolutely no help to Customers or Team , She was no support to her team whatsoever and gave them absolutely no guidance. Ye should have a great leader leading the restaurant team not someone who just strolls around and does absolutely nothing , Everything about the Hotel is wonderful it is such a shame about the service in the dining area. Amile at front reception area was so helpful for anything we needed he should be developed and trained more as he is eager to learn Adrian in restaurant was the only person trying to co ordinate the service so well done to him as he was trying his best

Fantastic service, incredible food, and the staff were the most caring people we could have asked for. To name a few, Jesse, Abigail, Madelin, Babe and Tabo provided excellent service and accommodation. We were instantly greeted on arrival by Tabo with drinks for all of us and showed to our beautiful rooms. We had dinner on one of the nights on our stay in the hotel restaurant, with a brilliant view of the seafront and coastal atmosphere. The food was Michelin-star standard with great service. We had amazing sights of whales on the beach right next to the hotel. Overall a fantastic place to stay with very caring staff!

We booked for 1 night but on arrival made a decision to stay another night there. Breathtaking views and friendly staff from security at the gate to house keeping. My boyfriend proposed there on the 2nd night❤️this was thanks to the help of staff there. Thank you so much for making my stay memorable. It’s definitely not our last time there

This hotel is in the most idyllic setting overlooking the ocean, however we felt like it totally lacked any atmosphere from the moment we arrived. This could of easily been a 5 star review but for this, it was soulless, staff didn’t seem happy, which was such a shame. The spa and pools seemed to always be out of action. On the plus side the food is excellent and the little touch of bringing a morning drink to our room was much appreciated. The location of the hotel does mean you need to drive out if you want to visit the Wilderness village , it’s not walkable. When we were there the steps down to the beach were out of action due to the previous storms. Not sure when these will be fixed.

Where can I start reviewing this superb hotel? From the moment we were directed to drive towards the reception area until we left the entire experience was 5*. Check in was smooth and we enjoyed a welcome drink overlooking the sea while our luggage was taken to our room. The room was large, spacious, airy and beautifully decorated. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast had a view to savour and wonder at on every occasion. Adrian, the restaurant manager was an exceptional member of staff who is a total credit to the hotel. He went well beyond "going the extra mile" to ensure our stay was really special, thank you Adrian. The hotel is called "Views" for a very good reason......what views!! We had a sensational stay!! Thank you.
