Enjoy your stay in Wilderness!
We stayed for one night at the Pink Lodge on our way back down the Garden Route to Cape Town. Tim was incredibly helpful and accommodating and the view from our room over the Ocean was outstanding. It is very conveniently located in Wilderness and well worth a visit.
It was a pleasure to stay their, directly at the beach and a very good breakfast. You have only to make some steps and your at the wonderful beach. At the morning our car was washed from the service. We stay their only two wonderful days
The location is the best. Tim is the best. The breakfast is the best and the view is the best. I have been coming here for over 10 years now and cannot thank Tim enough (and his staff) for my wonderful stay. Nothing is too much to ask from Tim, everything dished up with a smile and professionalism. I look forward to the next 10 years. Thank you again for accommodating me and wishing you the best for 2022!
The host Tim was truly a magnificent host. Friendly and supportive and most of all he loves dogs. However, I found his staff to be incompetent. When you have a pet friendly place I would assume there is someone tending the lawn and outside area. For the entire week that I was there I saw not a single person clean outside. I asked the inside cleaners on numerous occasions where the bins are. They asked me to leave the bags and they will take it away. It remained outside for almost the entire period we stayed there. Every time we went outside we had to see this unpleasantness. It was hard to enjoy the spectacular beach views when nobody is cleaning up. We are always responsible to clean up after our pets but others weren't. Plus the front of the unit had a disgusting pile of unpleasantness that we had to pass a few days to get into our apartment. I actually asked Tim to get his staff to clean up but till we left nobody had bothered. …
The lodge is excellently located right on the beach. Tim the owner was friendly and always up for a chat. However, the lodge itself is extremely outdated and old fashioned and is in serious need of a revamp. Couches were stained and when we asked the cleaner, she just said it wasn’t wet and left the room. There was mould growing on the chair in the one room. The bath tub was rusted and as a whole was not appealing. Definitely does not meet the 4 star standard and was not worth the money spent! Would not recommend!
