Stayed in a gorgeously decorated room with a lovely bathroom and it's own balcony with stunning sea views. The lodge is set slightly away from the main road and slightly higher so you can see across the properties opposite to the sea. I stayed 1 night and was lucky enough to sea dolphins twice, and apparently during certain seasons you can see whales pass. There was a small breakfast available downstairs and tea/coffee. Host was friendly and welcoming.

Really loved this place. Is run by Janine who is very welcoming and friendly. The bnb is a lovely place to chill out with a great view of the seafront. The breakfast was amazing- a great selection with several homemade delights. Only a 5 minute walk to the town. Would definitely recommend staying

We stayed in room 4, top floor with a view of the wilderness beach and sea, and an outside patio to enjoy your morning coffee while enjoying the view. The room itself is very lovely with fitting decor and everything blends in perfectly. The bathroom is just awesome with a shower window that looks onto the steepness of the mountain in the back. High roof which creates space and that is always great. Janine, interacts with her visitors and has great knowledge on what is happening in her surroundings. It was overall an awesome visit and I will definitely recommend you stay here if possible. You should know that the N2 runs past here but is not much of a deal breaker if you consider all the other positive aspects. And she has two lovely dogs! Bonus!

One of the friendliest receptions I experienced in a long time, the hostesses allowed me to book in early. Great view of the sea at Wilderness beach. Great luxury on a small budget. House is clean and very neat.

Sea la Vie is a simply wonderful option in lovely Wilderness, which is a real gem on the garden route and well worth exploring for a few days. We particularly enjoyed: -The generous and varied breakfast -The sea views from the terrace (some rooms are at front of property and offer higher up vistas) -Ample street parking right outside the hotel -A super lounge area to enjoy free tea, coffee and biscuits any time of day, with TV and books available -Quiet and comfortable rooms We received a lovely warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Wilderness is also a real gem to enjoy a good few days or more, with a wide beach just across the road, and short walk to restaurants and bars - lots to choose from. Just outside of town there are kayak trips to waterfalls, markets and great wine tastings on the lake just east along the N2 - you'll find all these elsewhere on TripAdvisor and are fabulous sunny day options. Sea la Vie won't break the bank but is in no way a 'budget' standard option. I'm so pleased we chose to stay here.

Awesome beach house. Close to the ocean, lovely Owner and wonderful setup. Is a bit busy with N2 and no fridge or TV in the room. Wonderful bathroom setup with views of the forest. Spectacular place to stay. We will definitely be back in future.

We stayed here for a night but wished it was longer. Very warm welcome on arrival. Beautiful and large room which was decorated superbly. Common sitting and dining area was lovely with tea and treats available.all day. Outside decking area with fab views of the ocean. Short walk to the beach and local restaurants. 3dogs and a cat lived at the house and they were quiet and delightful. We are animals lovers so this was a bonus. Tasty and plentiful breakfast in the morning.

The hostess was really nice and the room (we booked the luxury double room with views) was amazing. Big, clean, comfy and with a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast is splendid and wifi worked perfectly. Also, Janine recommended us a place to have dinner which was exactly what we needed.
