This very homely venue has become one my favourites in Underberg over the past year. It is perfect for business visits to Underberg and surrounding areas. The hosts manage to strike a very good balance between giving you the necessary attention and privacy as a guest. I like that it's nearby the local Spar if you have opted for self-catering. The BnB is also two minutes from the Grind Cafe' if you would like to go out for an evening meal.

An old world manor house set in a park is the best way to describe this B & B supervised by two elderly ladies that make you feel at home. Spend the evening reclining before a fire in either of two fire places while sipping sherry and reading a good book. Original Italian tiles on the bathroom floors look quaint but is cold on the bare feet. Unfortunately the beds are of the same generation as the house and a fair English breakfast hardly compensates for a poor nights’ sleep. Not good value for money if you are a weary traveler!

The most beautiful setting and stunning gardens. Very friendly welcoming from Monica and service was great! We stayed in the self catering cottage, we were travelling as 2 couples. Beds were fine and clean but the rest of the cottage was very tired looking and definitely needs some update. Lying in bed you could see all the cob webs on the ceiling and under the lamp shades. Fridge wasn't very cold and didn't close properly. Major upgrade needed to the appliances. There was no instructions for the microwave, so we battled to get to use that. Kettle needs an upgrade as the current one doesn't smell very nice. I didn't see any of the B & B rooms, so don't know what the rest of the place looks like.

Met by Monica our charming hostess, the bnb is beautiful and extremely comfortable. Bedrooms are large and well appointed, heaters in the bathrooms, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was outstanding.
