Great stay in comfortable surroundings. Beautiful, well kept gardens and excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff who gave us recommendations for dining out during the evening. The house seems quite old and the decore in the bathroom quite dated, but it was clean.

My husband and 7 month old son stayed here the night before heading up the Sani Pass to Lesotho. It's off of the main road so it's very quiet. The room we stayed in was spacious with a kitchen living room and bedroom. The beds were very comfortable and there was a wood burning fireplace which we made use of on a cold night. The staff was very helpful. They made us packed breakfasts because we were leaving for the Sani Pass a 6am. They also helped us get in touch with the tour guide when we returned because my husband left his phone in his car. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the opinion expressed by one of the staff that it was not a good thing that we were traveling so far with such a young child and taking him up to Lesotho. My wife and I spent one night at Cedar Gardens in May 2017 for a nearby wedding. The B n B is a beautiful old home, and the grounds are wonderful. Although near enough to the main road to provide easy access, it is just far enough away so that you are not bothered by traffic, and are able to forget that you are in a town. The décor and furnishings in our room were dated, but the room was clean and comfortable, and to be honest new décor is also hit and miss. Staff were helpful, and I will definitely stay there again the next time I am in the Underberg area.

The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms and facilities were very clean and well maintained. It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in Underberg, for business or pleasure.

We stayed at Cedar Garden by chance and we are glad we did. With it's grand appearance, comfortable rooms and beautiful garden it is a wonderful and tranquil place to stay.
