Detailed Reviews
I liked the fact that there is a choice between B&B or self catering. The house is spacious and clean, the staff friendly and accommodating - truly a home away from home. The garden is a delight to sit in and unwind from the stresses of life, an abundance of birdlife too.

Darren and his team were really welcoming. Darren kindly upgraded us to a bigger room for our 3 night stay so we had ample space. Room was warm and showers hot. Breakfast was plentiful (loved the fresh cut fruit salad). Garden is well maintained with lovely bird life. Offstreet and safe parking. A lovely place to visit and central to the southern Drakensberg.

We were delighted with our choice of a B and B at Cedar Garden. It is very pretty and set very conveniently on the edge of town in the Underberg. The rooms are beautifully laid out and every need is conveniently taken care of. The service was excellent and the breakfast was an absolute feast. Our room did not have a shower so ask for one with if that is your thing. For me I enjoyed a long deep bath with the plentiful hot water. The garden is very pretty with wonderful views of the Drakensberg. Highly recommended.
We had dinner at the Manor Inn which was very very good. Enjoy!

it is a very nice property which offers several accomodation solutions. We staid in a room in the main building. Nearby there a few places to have dinner, which is handy.
It was a very pleasant stay the ladies offer you advises and you can easily use the big common areas with nice fireplace.
I would only suggest to improve breakfast.

We clearly booked a twin bedded room but there was some uncertainty on this when we arrived. Once the error had been spotted the afternoon receptionist, who was generally very helpful, was very good at sorting us out.

We stayed here for two nights so we could take the Sani Pass tour. It is a good B&B although the room we had in the courtyard was fairly small and rather basic. The main house had a lounge which we were able to use and it was here we could access the wifi. We could not fault the kindness of the ladies looking after us. They were very attentive and went out of their way to be helpful. The grounds were very attractive and the position of the guest house was an easy walk to the centre for meals.

We had to make a long drive to get here from Addo Elephant Park but the Helga stayed up to wait for us which we really appreciated. They booked us for the Sani Pass Jeep ride the following day with Stewart who really knew his stuff when it comes to birds. The gardens were magnificent and breakfast was delicious. There was only one other couple there so we had the whole house to ourselves. The only minor problem was the lack of air conditioning. We tried to open the windows but there were no screens and being summer in South Africa there were a few too many mosquitos.
