Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly owner who showed us to our room. Rooms are on point and very beautiful and spacious too. There is WiFi, bar fridge n couch. Pity it was a cold weekend so we couldn't use the pool nor chill outside. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Shops and restaurants are close by just a walking distance. Overall my stay was beautiful and would recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, affordable, safe stay around umhlanga

This Guesthouse is a great place to stay, the rooms up stairs is great with sea view and gives a balcony to sit and relax and hear the sea. I booked dinner and it is delicious and definitely worth it.

A beautiful little guest house, closely situated next to the beach. It is really quite lovely, with very friendly staff. The height of our stay, was watching the Owner/Manager, feed the monkeys. The breakfast is also quite yummy. There was however a mix up with our room. We spent our first night in a really tiny room. The staff went out of their way to ensure our next night was more comfortable on their own and moved us to a bigger, way more comfortable room. The refreshments are resupplied daily, which is great. There is no kitchen, so no way to wash your dishes, unless you take them to the bathroom. Otherwise a generally pleasurable stay.

Response from Felicity C, Manager at Ridgesea Guest House

Dear Jarrod Thank you for your feedback on your stay at Ridgesea Guest House. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. I would just like to point out that you booked and were charged accordingly for a standard room on the Agoda website and were given a standard room. When a superior room was available we upgraded you at no extra cost to yourself to a superior room. Our listing on the website does not state that we are a self catering establishment therefore the rooms do not have kitchens but cups are replaced every day when the rooms are cleaned. We would be delighted to welcome you back to Ridgesea Guest House. Kind regards Felicity Cooke Ridgesea Guest House
