The room looked exactly the way I thought it would look like and it was clean. The host was friendly and welcoming. It felt like home. The place is well situated around shops and Malls. I had a great stay.

The place is beautiful, very clean, spacious, it has everything you need Wi-Fi, a big flat screen TV with dstv and it's only 20 minutes from Kind Shaka International Airport, very good value for money. I would definitely stay there again.

Upon making a Reservation I received the confirmation email stating that the booking was confirmed and that I could check in anytime between 5-6. I then msde my way to the Road and was abit lost so I called the number and requested assistance. The lady showed little or no interest in helping me and eventually just said she's coming on the Road for me. Upon arrival I was advised that there's Load shedding and that there was no Generator on premises. I was told that lights should be on at 6. At 8:30 I'm still sitting in the room full of darkness waiting for the lights to come on?!. At 8:45 the lady came to me( Bear in mind this is the 1st time she has come to me from the time I arrived) stating that the Owner said that there is an issue with the electricity at the property and that they aren't sure what time it will be sorted out and that I could either stay or Cancel my stay. As I was gathering my stuff to leave the lights came on. I eventually went over to make Payment and asked her if she was going to give me a discount for being in darkness and inconvenience for so long. She simply laughed and said unfortunately not. Is this the type of service you give Client's???

Although this guesthouse provides “reasonably priced” accommodation, the pictures and facilities offered on Bookings.com are deceiving when compared to my experience. The following are basic amenities that you would expect from any guesthouse that could not be offered and is something that the host could investigate: * No covered parking (had to park next to the pool with little turnaround space) * There were ants everywhere within the unit * There was no chair at the desk for me to work at * No hairdryer * TV remote was not working * No loose sheet on the bed with only 2 pillows and the mattress was uncomfortably hard * The towels were old and dirty (disgustingly dirty - images available) * A baby was screaming and shouting all night close by in the staff quarters I will regrettably not return any time soon.
