I always use this hotel when travelling to Ulundi. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room was beautifully done, not sure whether it was beacause I stayed in a suite. Food is tasty and the variety is good.

We checked in to the Garden Court after a long and tiresome journey on the 12th November 2011 and early Sunday morning, only to our dismay to be given a room that was occupied. We then unlocked the room only to be startling a couple which was comfortably asleep in the room.
We then addressed this with our host who simply gave us another room with no apology what so ever. We then raised the issue of security and we had no answers.
We were extremely disappointed by what could have been a beautiful stay.

Wonderful hotel, well appointed with spacious rooms. Princess at reception was a dream. Check in and check out was efficient and the staff were delightful. On the whole a great stay! I stayed in a pool facing room which is close to the bar, offers great views and is easily accessible from outside.

I must say that the location is slap bang in the centro of all the areas i needed to visit.
Although an óld hotel, it is well kept and maintained. The staff were super efficient and service was of a great standard. One thing that i would do is to remove the shower curtain and replace/upgrade the bathroom. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel.

I enjoyed the stay at Garden Court Ulundi, I had a lasting relationship with the staff. The hotel is well maintained, the last time I went to Ulundi was in 2001 when the it was Holiday Inn. I really enjoyed my stay, I will use the hotel in the future when I have to go to Ulundi.

Team had a function at this hotel and stayed here for two nights. Was very impressed by the friendly and efficient service provided by the manager and staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Although the rooms need a bit of freshening up they are comfortable, clean and quiet! If you are going to Ulundi this is the place to stay

My motor vehicle is always marked with bird droppings after an overnight stay, either trim back the overhanging trees or provide a cleaning service.
It is very satisfying to be remembered by name by staff at reception when revisiting after a long absence.
