The Hotel is located across the Main beach. this is not a new hotel but well updated with time. I would have rated the hotel very good if it was not for the following 2 point. 1) the price is very high 2) there is no WiFi in the rooms. The initial response was the floods but I had excellent WiFi reception from the beach??? The food in the Restaurant was very good.

I’m writing this on behalf of my aunt. She stayed for 5 days with a friend had the most wonderful time and trust me if she didn’t, everyone would know about it! It was her 90th birthday while she was there and the staff went over and above to make it special for her. She said she felt like a VIP. I can’t express how grateful I am to all the staff there for how they treated her, but a special shout to Jessie who put herself out personally to make things happen. Thank you so much for making it a special occasion for her.

Tried to get a good night's sleep, but was kept awake by the drunks partying on the balconies. More a party venue than a hotel. Would not advise as a family holiday destination or as a get away for relaxation

Hotel doesn’t concern itself over its paying guests! Outside functions take over the hotel grounds creating mess and noise. We cannot make use of outside restaurant and lounge area as a result. So much noise I can’t even stay in my room. So we must leave the hotel premises for peace and quiet. Ridiculous!!! How can one have a holiday if you don’t prioritise your hotel guests??? Move private functions away from the main hotel area. Will never return here as they have no clue about hospitality. Be warned!!!!

I got served a beer that still had caustic soda in the line. No compensation. Spoke to waiters but apparently manager wasn't working so wasn't helped much. Had to order a different beer. They were intoxicated by the exuberance of their own verbal intoxication.

We 1st visited the hotel in 2019 and had such a wonderful trip we returned again. The hotel and rooms were spotless; buffet breakfasts delicious; pool and outdoor facilities including a kiddies jungle gym, trampoline and mini golf in great condition; and all staff were attentive and so friendly. The Kids Holiday program run by Hilton and his fabulous team was an absolute hit with my children and enabled me to relax knowing they were safe and having a wonderful time. The hotel overlooks the safe beach and river, close to shops and great restaurants and other tourist attractions. We cannot wait to return!

Very pleasant stay in a clean, smoke free hotel. Booked for B&B, breakfast was buffet-style and catered for various tastes. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive yet available when I had enquiries. Several very nice restaurants in easy walking distance and so convenient to stroll to the swimming beach. Although we didn't ha e children with us, there seemed to be plenty of happy children at the hotel.

Food and beverage was very over priced, we ate at the hotel and had a few drinks on the first day of our stay and after seeing the bill we didn't eat again at the hotel, it was a lot cheaper to go eat at a restaurant every lunch and dinner. The drinks were priced at around R10 more per drink and a pizza for instance was around R60 more than a pizza of the same quality at any of the bars, restaurants that were 5 min walk from the hotel. As a guest i would gladly pay R10/R20 more per meal for the convenience but just found prices were comparatively way too high and you are losing tons of money, there were 2 or 3 people eating lunch / dinner on any day which is a petty. Other than that our stay was very nice and enjoyable, the hotel is very nice and staff are great. ps: the hallways smell of cat pee.

As Timeshare owner, who does not visit the hotel regularly, we always have a nice experience, considerate staff and value for money. For us, the hotel is conveniently situated central from most of the places worth visiting in the area, including Durban. The beach area, which is well maintained, is within close walking distance.
