Aristo Manor is an absolute gem!. The parking is plentiful and easy to get in and out. The rooms are fantastic, being spacious and superbly appointed. Every room has its own spacious veranda and has a fan and air conditioning. The prices are most reasonable. The Manor is also superbly appointed and is definitely one of the best I have been to.

The rooms are comfortable and the location is near enough to town with a restaurant/pub next door. The decor needs a revamp, though. It does fit with the style, but personally I prefer slightly more modern.

A very stylish and beautiful place. Room had complimentary snacks and a bar fridge with items for purchasing. Lovely bathroom facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Suite immaculately clean. The downsides were the bed and size of TV. Although the bed was beautifully decorated the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. I had difficulty sleeping. The TV was also too small for the size of the room. I had a large room and the bed and TV were on opposite sides of the wall. I think the TV was a 32" screen and was therefore too small to view properly.

For some reason, we decided to stay in Richard's Bay for two nights - not a choice we would make again. Aristo Manor Guest house has a main building, and several "self catering" rooms. Those rooms are tiny and antiquated - no place to even leave the suitcase upright. The blinds on the windows were in terrible shape. Cleanliness was okay. We wouldn't stay in those rooms again. However, the guest house, where we purchased an excellent breakfast, looks to be quite nice. The hostess was certainly friendly and helpful. Richard's Bay offers little for the tourist - at least that anyone could tell us about.

The Aristo Manor was elegant, comfortable and affordable. The decor is rich with care on every level. The staff was courteous and very pleasant. The room was large, with a private balcony, and comfortable bed. Highly recommended.
