Stayed two nights..Sat/Sun...No Wi FI entire weekend!
No milk in Fridge for Tea/Coffee
Only one set of towels 2nd night after having to switch rooms as largest room couldnt accommadate 2nd bed/person on the Sunday
Required early breakfast on Monday but as Club area only served from 7h30 were offrered packed breakfast instead of normal full breakfast I had on Sunday morning which was really good. Signed for R80 but packaed breakfast only consisted of Chicken mayo sandwich from halfway and a small orange juice? (expected fruit yougart muesli and juice at least for R80)
Better value nearby as plenty to choose from.

Whilst only having 3 rooms they are spacious and well equipped. The location, overlooking the city on one side and the golf course on the other is magnificent. Service is attentive but as the only guests the provision of breakfast seemed to take them by surprise. We were asked to preorder the hot items with the assurance on the form that the rest would be available. This was only true if you explicitly requested them. When we turned up for breakfast at the agreed time we had to get the breakfast area opened up - as though we were not expected. Despite that we would happily use the club again if we are in the area - if you want to do more than B&B then make sure you know what time the restaurants and bars close - we came back to a deserted club on Sunday evening when we'd hoped for drink at least (the staff the following morning apologised and said they would happily have put anything we wanted in our fridge).

Great that it is on a golf course. Room warm and clean. Staff friendly. Early breakfast was on time.
Very safe to stay. Quiet at night times and early in morning. Fantastic that the restaurant and golf course are on same premises.

The staff are great and very professional. The room is clean and tidy just a little dated. All in all was a good stay. Golf course is world class and the restaurant food was very good. 👍🏻 would recommend Victoria Country Club for a short stay over.

Excellent value for money. Rooms were spacious and clean with lovely views. perfectly situated to play a round of golf and stay over afterwards. Would definitely recommend for a golfing trip either solo or as a couple.

A lovely quaint little spot which is well located. In the more classy side of Pietermaritzburg. Although central, nice and quiet as the trees blocked all the noise from the highway. Very close to Cascades Shopping centre which has fine dining like Olive and Oil. Highly recommended for all stays.

Had booked 2 nights but it was so nice we extended the stay. Nice helpful staff, fantastic view from the housewe stayed in. Will return next time i am coming to Southafrica. The only bad thing is that you have to write two hundred caracters for this review.

This is my second visit to Victoria country club. Again the staff go above and beyond to assist you. We were unaware that the bar & restaurant close early but the staff arranged food and drinks for our room

Excellent facilities and service, both for the casual visitor staying over in a chalet, and for the conference facilities. I was privileged to present a 2-day course for a group of 52 people, and the sound system, acoustics, projector, refreshments, food and simply everything else was excellent. Recommended anytime, always! - note that overnighters in a chalet also seem to qualify for a free round of golf.
