Load shedding...yes it's something beyond your control at the resort. BUT you should display the correct schedule. You had an old sheet displayed at the lifts and a different one on the reception window. Very misleading. You had no contingency plans. It was discovered that you did have a generator but were out of diesel. This is pathetic and resorts to poor planning after all the we are all paid patrons. You have 2 lifts of which one is out of commission. There were 2 instances whereby individuals were stuck in the lifts. The reception offices were poorly manned or controlled. We were limited to the use of the pool facilities an the braai areas due to a rowdy bunch abusing the areas and made it a :no go area "for others. Where were your security personnel?
Our Bike Group held the 2019 National Convention here at the beginning of October. The facility is well maintained and clean and is truly a Self Catering establishment. So one has to bring everything with, there are no towels, soaps or shampoos. In the kitchen, there are no dishcloths, soap or anything to clean the dishes. We were also told that dish cleaning is not part of the provided amenities. So essentially all that is done by the staff is to make the bed, sweep the flat out and empty the dustbin. Considering the daily rate, R845 per day, we expected a bit more in the way of service, additionally on the day that we left one of the lifts got stuck. Overall our stay was very pleasant, but service was lacking
