Very easy accessible tarred roads all the way and quiet safe lodge, ideal for holiday makers who like sharing. The rooms equipment was in working order,Ideally well equipped for self catering. I think I will visit again. Very nice couple Godfrey and Cary.

The lodge is very peaceful and although rustic very comfortable. The bird life is fabulous and would love to visit again in the summer months when the migrant birds have arrived. Sand Forest lodge is perfectly situated for visiting all the local KZN attractions.

An quite environment, with impala , cows and dogs. Relaxing to watch over a cup of tea or coffee. A bird and tree trail to explore, a good variety of trees, but sadly very few birds. Pool was not available due to the drought.
