A magical trip away to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Incredible sightings, friendly staff and delicious meals. Absolutely no fault to an wonderful trip away. Will definitely be returning, just for a longer stay next time.
We received a warm welcome and were shown to our rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. On Friday afternoon, we went on a game drive with a great interactive guide and saw some lovely game, including Lion. We had a lovely braai dinner on the Friday evening and slept comfortably in our clean Chalets. Saturday morning we had a freshly prepared breakfast. We then enjoyed the wedding which was tastefully catered for with a great selection of meals and desserts. We left on the Sunday and felt that we received good value all round. Would definitely like to go back again soon.
Bayala Camp exceeded my expectations on a number of counts. Having been to a number of 5 star game lodges in SA and Africa; I had not expected Bayala to measure up to them, but it did in virtually all respects. From the personalised greetings from the front desk (Ben) and our waitress (Thandeka) to the incredible game drives that we enjoyed with Wallie. The food was superb, the breakfast omelette and the evening braai were highlights. We will be back.
My Wife and I from Johannesburg, joined up with our son and his family from Ballito, for a family get together. It worked out splendidly. We were particularly impressed with Emma, our guide, who handled the two youngsters much better than i ever could.
Amazing trip, unplanned and practically reached the place on a blind drive and unexpected, reception was helpful and friendly, arranged accommodation without a issue and also included a evening gave drive which was the most exciting part of the trip and thrilled to spot a leopard twice. The surprise part was the bonfire buffet dinner, with pap grilled meat and vegetables, with refreshing desert. Sleep was comfortable with a beautiful breakfast in the morning. Will definitely return again
