We had a very nice stay at this camp. We slept there only 1 night but the location is very good if you want to visit the Hluhluwe reserve and could not sleep inside the park. The chalet with the 3 bedrooms was nice, comfortable and clean.

The staff were extremely helpful and the overall bush experience was amazing. All the amenities for a comfortable stay were on hand. The pool area and the Bomma were the highlight for me and many relaxing hours watching the butterflies and the bush babies was priceless. An all round pleasant experience. Meeting your feline family was very entertaining. Definitely on the "to do" list again.

Very nice 2 night stay. Staff was very helpful and so pleasant. Shout out to Zama who was the staff member on duty. Great value for money. We stayed in the log cabin and was a perfect stay over for our family(4) who travelled to Hluhluwe/Imfolosi reserve during the day and had quiet and private bonfires and braais when we got back. Nothing fancy but with all the amenities you need for a trip like ours.

The staff were friendly, the pool water was nice and warm. The bucks and monkeys on the premises were an awesome experience. The beds were super comfortable to sleep on and the bedding was nice and clean.
BUT
The gate intercom doesnt work and without cellular reception it was a problem to call the reception numbers. There was NO hot water for the whole of our stay. There is a bar area but it is not operational. NO ice is sold on the property. The rooms are EXTREMELY hot and the small fan provided does not help… aircons are sorely needed. The shower heads are so old and dirty that there are 5 holes that the water come through and the streams each go in separate directions which makes it near impossible to shower. Our toilet was constantly leaking… and instead of fixing the problem the staff kept cutting off water to our unit without communicating to us. Eventually I came up with the suggestion that I would close the water tap to the unit when i am not using water. Staff kept asking for cigarettes… made for a very uncomfortable experience as We had to travel outside of the lodge everytime we needed anything from a shop. Wifi is available… but only if you walk all the way to the reception area and literally sit there. Overall this place needs some looking after and some TLC… a bit of an upgrade maybe? I know bush living shouldnt be all too glamorous but it would be nice if the essentials like a working shower and hot water would be nice…

Lovely setting. We didnt have much time to explore the grounds but after a long day in the game park a dip in the pool and snacks on the deck was great. Accomodation for an over night was perfect. Rxcrpt for the train horn blasting the tranquility is the best. Bush babies in the trees amazing as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Isinkwe. We stayed in the elevated log cabin and found it to be the perfect slice of tranquility we were looking for. Very neat accommodation, a lot of thought has gone into equipping the cabin for self catering accommodation and relaxation.

Bushbaby cabin was lovely surrounded by trees and quite private from the rest of the accommodation. Pool, trampoline and hammocks were great for the kids. Friendly helpful staff - particularly Sama who lent us her plug adapter - thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in the Tree Cabin! Peaceful and quiet.
The Tree cabin needs some maintenance, but otherwise lovely.
Both Mkuze and Hluhluwe game park are close by which is lovely for a day trip.

Please can you give me the the owners number. I was staying was great Zama promised to pay my 500 refund and I got a dead and off phone from her and manager and after call have been made. The family room was beautiful. It's such a pity the after service is like this. I tried calling her and the manager sent my banking details and still not received anything from them.

A pleasant stay. Nice, clean communal area and all campsites and chalets were close together. Our son particularly enjoyed the trampoline!
This was a return visit and we would consider a stay Isinkwe again.
