Location is why we picked this BnB. It is in a safe neighborhood close to the great restaurants and shopping in Umhlanga. Our incredible and warm hosts, Pippa and Pink, have created a paradise with stylish decor, beautiful views of the sea, unequalled breakfast, sleeping comfort, swimming pool with braai patio. The honesty bar is reasonable and convenient. I would seek out this amazing BnB for all my stays in Durbin.

They have thought of everything!! its is beautiful, elegant but the real winner is the attention to detail. You want a braai everything is there, plates, tools, spice right under the sink and outdoor prep area as a private area so you feel like you have your own space while still in a communal area. I loved my stay and will come back over and over again!

Pink and Pippa and all the team could not have been more helpful. Advising on great restaurants, things to do and arranging taxis. Fantastic breakfast on the terrace. Great location for visiting Durban and Umhlanga. Hope to go back again soon.

We really loved and enjoyed stay at this B&B.
We pre announced that it was our honeymoon trip and they decorated the bed with rose petals and towel swan!! So lovely!!
Pink and Pippa create cosy and relaxing homey atmosphere. Whole house was decorated with impeccable tastes.
They offered good breakfast as well!
Wish to visit again!!!

Khanya Kude offers luxury accommodation without being uptight. From the second you arrive at their door and sip on the welcome drink, you feel right at home. The room is a comfortable size and the attention to detail in terms of the decor and in-room coffee facility, really puts this B & B one above the rest. The hosts are friendly and ready to give advice and help any time, while still respecting your privacy.

To some, breakfast might sound a bit boring on paper, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of my stay. To start off with, freshly cut fruit served with excellent yogurt, a perfectly crunchy granola, and some honey. If that's not enough of a treat, you'll be served the most perfect, hot and flaky croissant, and a variety of jams. Paired with either eggs or ham and cheese. To wash it down with you'll have fresh orange juice and a selection of teas or coffees.

The location is excellent with a mall about 5 minutes away by car and Uber available 24/7.

As quite the traveler, I've stayed at many B & B's before, and this one is in a different league. I honestly can't find any fault with Khanya Kude.

Thank you for your hospitality and impeccable service.

Elize

We have travelled a lot around the world and have stayed in many places. Khanya Kuda is the best b&b we have ever stayed at! Suffice to say, we just didn't want to leave. The place is lovely with amazing attention to detail. The workmanship, mostly done by the owners, is incredible. I appreciated everything from all the African details in the design to the amenities in our room. From the warm welcome and refreshing welcome drinks, to yummy breakfasts each morning, two amazing dogs that treated us like family, clean (spotless) comfortable rooms located in a safe and convenient location in Durban...Khanya Kuda is an oasis owned and run by wonderful people. Thank you so much Pippa, Pink, Chris & Maggie. You made our trip so special! We will be back!

Great location, quiet neighborhood, beautifully appointed home and terrific hosts...what's not to love? The soothing sound of the Indian Ocean lulled me to sleep every night, and sitting out on the large deck in the mornings was especially pleasant...watching the monkeys cavort on the neighbor's roof was an unexpected bonus! Breakfasts were perfect...colorful, healthy and yummy at the same time. Pink and Pippa were great hosts!

We stayed in this lovely retreat as a rest stop for 3 nights to recover from jet-lag before we began our photo safari.
Pink has collected African art which is stunning. The service & hospitality was excellent. They have many spaces for quiet restoration- on the veranda (where breakfast is served), by the pool (where we enjoyed evening fire pits) or in lounge areas. We could not work our . S African Uber connection, but it was easy to arrange taxis to dinner or the beach. This is in North Durban, close to the Umhlanga Beach- which was wonderful for walking or dinner at the lighthouse, Oyster Box hotel.

First of all: If you're depending on a wheelie or allergic to cats and dogs, stop reading now. Unfortunately you won't be able to enjoy the great hospitality of Khanya Kude, since there's no wheelchair access to the beautifully decorated and airconditioned rooms upstairs and there are a cat and two lovely dogs around. We received a very warm welcome by our hosts Pink and Pippa and were offered some fresh ice tea. There's a complimentary minibar/fridge in each room plus a generous honesty bar in the upstairs lounge, a room safe is provided as well. Breakfasts on the veranda were always a feast, no buffet but freshly prepared and individually served like a 3-course-dinner by Chris, the extremely friendly and professional assistant of the owners. The place is spotless clean and yet you can feel relaxed and like at home. Guests were allowed to refresh in the salt water pool and make use of the beautiful lounges and the veranda at all times. Pink, Pippa and Chris never were too far away when we needed some advise or help but they still respected our privacy. All in all it was a perfect 2 nights stay at Khanya Kude. Thanks again for having us. If I could give 6 stars I would.
