This is actually one of my "best kept secrets". I have been a traveller for many years and always seek those off the beaten track for lodging out of the mainstream tourism highways. Mythai is just what the doctor ordered. It is extremely private and hidden between two roads in a pan handle. The vegetation in and around the accommodation is breath taking with a view over the pool at breakfast and another private pool at the back with two room adjoining. The hostess is just a sweetie and the establishment top notch. The shops in the area is all within walking distance and a place to visit during festive seasons when the street come alive with vacation fun seekers. The food, lodging and hospitality is right up there. Definitely a bucket list item for sure.

I booked a room at Mythai Guesthouse after coming across it on TripAdvisor. It was a lovely accommodation and within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants/bars on Florida Rd. Lillian was a wonderful manager and made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of during our stay. We loved it there!

We were two couples and stayed there from 2016/02/28 to 2016/03/03. Beautiful spacious rooms and a calming natural atmosphere. Great hospitality by Lilian and her staff. I will certainly go back. This guesthouse is central to everything - beaches, Moses Mabhida, shoppoing centers, restaurents and many more. Our stay was great.

Beautiful setting, tastefully decorated with a warm feel. Happy to have happened across this gem online! Loads of restaurants close by. Owner is friendly and most helpful. Tranquil gardens are truly reminiscent of Thailand.

Stayed there for a weekend in November and it is such a peaceful place, and the breakfast is amazing. Great value for money, really close to shops and restaurants and Lillian was a lovely host. I'll be sure to visit again in time and time again.
