Our rooms are all double bedrooms, which can also be converted to 2 singles, fully tiled, spacious and comfortable with en-suites. I provide all the little extras too, such as biscuits for your coffee, good night chocolates, etc etc…. Detailed Reviews
Anthurium Lodge is well located between the new airport and the town, close to the Ulhanga Mall and the shark center. The rooms are motel-type, well resourced. An excellent breakfast is taken in the gazebo in the garden.

+1
Really enjoyed it. The room was well equipped and had a small kitchen with stove, basin, fridge and related amenities. Could be used as a proper self catering unit as well, if you wanted to. The bathroom had lovely shower and the room had a ceiling fan and air-conditioning, which is a necessity for the very hot Durban summer. The grounds are well maintained and kept and even though there are additions (additional room and flat for the owners to stay in being built) it isn't untidy with building rubble lying around. The lodge is quite centrally located and a 15 minute drive could get you in Durban CBD or Umhlanga, going in the other direction. All in all a good experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for accomodation in Durban

We stayed 8 days and the place was excellent for us. We had their very nice cottage with all facilities. Two rooms, two bath and a small kitchen. Easy access to the beaches, shopping and main roads. We enjoyed the hospitality. Thanks to Veronique, Rob and Nora.

The cleanest facilities ever! The hosts are not business-like, they become friends immediately. Comfortable, quiet, tranquil and caters for each individual need. The city may not always meet the needs but the guest house certainly will do. We enjoyed John's friendliness and Britishness and had a friendly, insightful drink with Veronique. No one can forget the experience.
