Quayside apartment 311 may be giving points apartments waterfront a bad name. It is not up kept like the rest of other apartments. The living room furniture all need up date. The bathroom mirror is placed so high yu need a stool to stand on. The motor of the suction vent in the bathroom is very noisy, bulbs need replacing, the tv is old type with no wifi capability cant watch netfix even though there is good wifi in apartment so yu end up with R250 vesion of dstv. The cookware n plates are old...its just generally neglected. However the stay in Quayside (if you are in a good apartment) is blizz. Perfect see view, walking distance from king shaka marine, 2 min from beach its excellent.

I usually stay at P W A when on business in KZN, but this was the first time I stay there on a holiday trip, and only stayed one night on Christmas night, December 2019 when we were on route to Mozambique. We arrived late, but the staff were waiting and led us to our apartment, it was absolutely mind blowing. I just love staying at P W A. The beds are so comfortable, the views are awesome, it is close to restaurants and sight seeing (walking distance) and very safe. I didnt want to leave and would have happily stayed. Shortly after our visit, I heard they opened Maha Cafe' which I am sorry I missed because the reviews have been awesome. I cant to go and visit again and would recommend this place as the first choice for any visitor to KZN, whether business or leisure.

Terrible accomodation looks like an inner city run down estate. Dirty and shabby reminds me of student digs. Air con not working so got full refund off hotel.com and left. Do not book this it's awful.

Nice place if you want to be central of Durban without the chaos, the apartments have nice modern finishes and the security is good, a stone throw away from uShaka Marine, the beach and Durban Harbor.
