Exceptional service ,the host was very welcoming. The bathroom and my bedroom were clean and was also assisted with a smile all the time. Also had a place, safe place to park my car which gave me peace and allowed me to sleep peacefully

We only stayed three night which was enough to explore what was around the area, it rained most the time so it was not enjoyable, Durban has a high drug problem and every ten steps some would ask for money loads of homeless but if you plan it right it’s can be a good stop off from joburg to cape town.

I arrived in the evening and was asked to join 30 Seconds Board game, that was so welcoming. I was staying in one of the mixed dorms, it was so much fun meeting new people. The bar is the fun part of Curiocity. I made so many new friends in my 3 nights stay, I am definitely going back.

I spent 6 nights at Curiocity Durban - I originally booked 3 nights and added another 3 nights because I was unable to join a tour that had wait-listed me and joined another tour that started 3 days later from Durban. I was very pleased with the attentiveness, helpfulness, friendliness, and dedication to providing excellent service from the entire staff of this hostel. The 8 bed dorm rooms are extremely large and have access to a balcony. Large lockers under the bottom bunk easily accomodated my 2 bags. The hostel is located in a decent neighborhood and is 3 blocks from a supermarket and 5 blocks from Duban's South Beach section of the waterfront. Highly recommended!

Even though it was only for one night, I arrived feeling exhausted, but left feeling recharged and ready for the next day's mission. The warm environment and panoramic views make Curiocity an awesome base camp!
