Wonderful and warm, just like home. Kim and Gordon are such wonder hosts and give such attention to detail. The rooms are luxurious and tastefully furnished. The layout provides for some social interaction if thats what you enjoy.

Had stayed here while on a business trip to Durban and just loved the place and the great hosts Kim and Gordon. Staying in a Garden Suite, I had access to the beautiful garden just outside with a themed waterfall. The room was very spacious and absolutely clean. The rooms are done up each day in the noon and you come back to fresh linen each time. Kim and Gordon have an extensive list of breakfast optionn and you choose what you want.........made to order. The bar, kitchen and dining room is an all-in-one socializing room. Pick your drink for the evening, jot it down in a piece of paper, and it will be added to your account. Lunch and dinner will be arranged on request from a wide array restaurants nearby.
The warmth of the hosts and service of the staff will get me again to this place for sure!

I stayed for a week in June 2011. This place was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff made sure of that everyday. Each night before you go to bed you leave out your breakfast order. It was always warm and tasty. There is tons of secure parking. There are always tons of your favorite beers and drinks in the bar.

Kim and Gordon are great hosts!

On a recent business trip, I stayed at the Amanzimtoti Beach Rest. The friendly service, the clean and neat facilities and the central location will assure that I can recommend future travelers this should be there number one choice.

I really enjoy the food, The owner was friendly and know how handle their customers very well, next trip I won't go anywhere but there.
Its save for you and your car, they have the refreshments that you enjoy after a long day what I like most is that they call you and ask you about the next meal

Our stay was perfect. We were placed in the luxurious and spacious penthouse without asking for it in advance. The caring host, Kim, goes to great lengths to make her guests feel at home and comfortable. The multi-choice breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

Having just retired I would like to pay tribute to Kim and Gordon, the very special people who own a very special guesthouse ... Amanzimtoti Beach Rest

For more than 10 years I travelled to Durban regularly on business and ALWAYS made sure that my accommodation was booked at this gem of a “home from home” where nothing is ever too much trouble if it makes a guest comfortable and happy.

Not once in all the years I stayed with Kim and Gordon was I ever disappointed by the standard of the accommodation or service they provided.

Thank you so much for all the care you lavished on me Kim. I know that you, Gordon and the lovely space you share with so many weary travelers will go from strength to strength.

It was my first time staying at a guest house and I really enjoyed it. Thank you for being my home away from home. The food was great and the service outstanding. Comfortable bed and WONDERFUL shower! Loved it :)

Good Evening Penny-Jane, Thank you for your interest. We are around 4kms from the Doonside Animal Clinic. Unfortunately we are fully booked this holiday season. You can google Doonside accommodation for establishments closer to your destination. With warm regards, Kim.
