Detailed Reviews

We made the best of our week's stay at Inyoni Rocks, despite the awful accommodation.
The lady at reception is point blank rude.
The cleaning of the units is not up to par, they did not clean our unit the second day, said they ran out of staff. Linen & towels were not changed once.
Everything seems a little mouldy. The curtains are torn & there are holes in the walls. When the unit above you showers, it sounds as if the entire building is taking a shower.

Recommend: if two couples are staying in one unit - to provide the unit with two tags to enter and exit the property. Wifi maybe?

Regardless, the location is great and with a little effort they can make it an exceptional holiday destination. We made the best of our holiday anyway, although we doubt we would stay there anytime again.

Was not worth what we paid to say the least.

We were really disappointed with the unit we stayed in. The mould in the shower, the tv that is not working and the extremely rude lady at reception. The location is super nice we have been there many times and this was the worst ever.

Worst holiday ever. Linen old washed out and towels torn. Furniture broken. Broken tiles and windows. Special package price not what we paid and they refused to pay back our deposit.
We returned back home 2 days earlier.

We made a booking for 5 nights. When we arrived, the place was terribly neglected. The couches are worn. The sleeping couch is a death trap and the stove's plates are rusted! The apartment was not cleaned and I had to phone reception to send someone. We've managed to get other accommodation and left after 3 nights. What you get is not justified by the rate you pay!!!

All TV's in the cabanas have DSTV remotes, unless you were intending to use the television for other purposes which requires you to unplug the DSTV that should not be an issue. When you left 4 coffee mugs was missing to which you were billed for on the breakage deposit. I see you were so happy with Inyoni Rocks that you booked again on July 2018.

Good location for a beach holiday as the cabanas are right on the main toti beach. Booking in can be difficult as you need to first get through security or leave your car on the road to get clearance to drive onto the property. Tough luck if you have visitors, they will have to park off the property, if they are lucky enough to find a park. Manager of the letting pool was unknowledgeable and or uninterested in the general area and frankly was quite rude. Accept these are beach cabanas exposed to the ocean elements, but accommodation is a mix and match of whatever fits and frankly quiet tatty. They offer DSTV, but picture was poor, this was reported to the manager who dismissed the problem. There are office cats who relieve themselves in the common property passage walk ways, so look out where you walk!! Communal Pool and braai facilities are available, can be crowded.

This is a lovely getaway spot for the family, right on the beach and centrally located to shops and restaurants. The ground floor units have a great garden space overlooking the beach which is within easy access from the chalets. Security was excelent as the complex is patrolled 24 hours. Very good value for money and highly recommended.

We holidayed at Inyoni Rock Cabanas, for 2 weeks, from Friday 27th January to Sunday 12th February. The complex is right next to the beach, and most of the units are sea-facing. Our ground floor, Number 4 unit, upstairs had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and balcony, whilst downstairs had a lounge/dining room, kitchen, guest toilet and patio. The cabana was well furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen, bed linen and bathroom towels. The cabanas were serviced every day except Sunday. The complex is fully secured with security guards, own parking, contains a large and pleasant braai/barbeque area, as well as an enclosed swimming pool area close to our unit. The 3km long golden sandy beach was perfect for long walks and sun tanning. Opposite the cabana complex is a salt water public pool, manned by life guards from 6am to 5pm. A small portion of the sea can also be swum in, as demarcated and protected by the life guards. 150 metres away is a Spur restaurant, as well as the Thirsty Whale pub/restaurant - where we ate frequently with it's reasonable priced food and drinks. There is also the small Splash water slide complex, perfect for kids. Being off-season, the cabana price was most reasonable, and the beach was mostly empty, possibly 50 people weekdays and 150 people weekends. The weather was wonderful, averaging 29C days and 21C nights. Although the complex is well administered by trustees, most of the units are individually owned, so the quality of furnishing and kitchen equipment are dependent on the owner. We had a wonderful holiday - without any complaint, and highly recommend this complex and area to tourists.
