Detailed Reviews
Visited the guest house in Feb 2018 for 3 nights. Beautiful room overlooking the ocean. Slight open sliding door at night allows the natural sea sound come through as lullaby whilst relaxed.
Food was wonderful, art work deco throughout the guest house reminded me of my wife's artistic work.
Friendly host Zelda and Alan were awesome.

Firstly how they can call themselves five star I don’t understand as I have stand in 5 star hotels around the world and I don’t even view this as a full service hotel no matter the star and here are the reason. We check in there is one person at check in and any where from what I can see. The bedroom is meant to be non smoking I smell smoke the second I walk into the room. Then there is a microwave in the room but no plates or bowls or anything to go with the cutlery. We have an ice container but nowhere to collect the ice and we had to phone to try get anyone on reception about 3 times. We finally got the restaurant who said we had to go collect from the restaurant and when we go there had to pay for ice.
In front of our room was a pool but the people act like it’s a frat house and they had music going and we’re in the pool until after 11pm making noise and we had to complain to even hope to sleep. They finally did something about this at 11:30pm.
When I went into the bed, the pillow had a burn mark and the cover torn and the sheets were not completely clean either.
There was no place for me to put my luggage to unpack and I had to put my case on my bed.
At break fast they only had apricot jam for toast, no marmite , honey, bovril, strawberry jam or cheese.
The most disappointing was the fact the trees from the room cover the sea view and you paying for a sea view room.
As I say I have no idea how they get classified as a 4 star boutique hotel let alone a full service hotel. Will never tell my one to stay here. Shocking really as it’s just plain misleading and the pools and common areas are no totally clean either.

The place has a beautiful view. We were there for 3 nights. Zelda's place is filthy. The carpets are dirty and smells of cat's poo and pee... ooh! I don't want to mention the shower...
She has more than 30 untrained cats galavanting on the roof/patios/on top of guests cars etc. You can imagine the smell...

The Guest House owners Zelda and Alan, are fantastic people.
Zelda is an artist, and her paintings phenomenal, Please when you stay in the B&B, go and take a look at all the work in the gallary not far from the B&B.
This felt like home away from home, from the moment you met Alan at the airport and the minute you walk into the B&B, you felt like you can relax.
I stayed in room 2 with a balcony overlooking the ocean, and I loved it.
The food is excellent, and the way its presented make you feel like royalty.
With the sound of the ocean, the perfect bed, you can not help to have a good nights rest.
I would recommend this B&B to anyone.
I will not stay anywhere else in future if I have to go down to KZN on business.
You fell in love with the people and the settings.
Thank you so much for allowing me to experience your hospitality.
Its not just a B&B, its everything.
The small gestures like soap and shampoo added something special.
Kind Regards
Marieta
