The lodge was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Traveling with a 9 month old, the staff went the extra mile to ensure that we get a room that accommodates all our needs. The restaurant served the best breakfast. In fact, the food was good all around.

Choosing Three Rivers Lodge as the venue for our wedding was the best decision we could ever make. It is not just a venue but a family. Hailene, the wedding planner, was helpful and full of awesome ideas from the beginning. The staff is friendly, and the food was amazing, with almost nothing left from our buffet. The food was definitely a big winner among guests. The wedding coordinator worked closely with our vendors, assisting them in any way possible.

Everything was perfect, from the honeymoon suite and the romantic turndown, to the groom and his groomsmen cooling down in the lodge pool and having blast to the amazing breakfast the next morning at Anna's Kitchen.

The chapel was beautiful, the garden was a show stopper! Everything under 1 roof made everything so effortless.

Three Rivers Lodge is truly a hidden gem, and we cannot recommend them enough.

The layout of the place when booking on-line is confusing. Make sure when you book, that you stay in the new Italian section. I went in on booking .com (a mistake) and we were given poor and noisy rooms at the back of the premises called Sirmione which was near and above the workers quarters and kitchen. Fortunately this was remedied after I complained by the v. accommodating and pleasant manager.

Considering the prices charged, the hotel could work on improving the following:
1. Bigger /better swimming pool.
2. Reliable wifi and internet internet connectivity
3. Exercise facilities or a least a pass to the nearby Virgin Active gym for guests.
4. Some (for sure not all) of the front desk staff at reception seemed a bit clueless and were clearly "trying" to be friendly or informed.

Overall, I would probably stay there again if I had to return to Vereeniging.

We started off by going to a wedding and decided to spend the night. The grounds, chapel, restaurant, and rooms were very nice and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. You definitely can get accommodation for less, but our stay was very enjoyable and well worth it.

My wife and I had a night booked at Three Rivers Lodge but I turned out to be the worst experience. We stay in Centurion at after trying to get someone to assist from reception decided to leave at 01h30 in the morning. There were parties happening right under our room. We tried for 15 minutes to get hold of reception to assist with no luck. I have also escalated this to the hotel management and as yet they have not given any feedback as they promised. Shocking!!!

I booked in advance for the night before the Vaal Marathon. Having seen such raving reviews I didn't even hesitate to book. In retrospect, I should have communicated that I was racing the 42.2km at 6am and that was the reason I booked, but equally I feel I should have been told that it was a wedding venue and that the loud music would be pumping until midnight. I slept a bit and got up at 4am, completely defeating the purpose of having driven through the day before.

When we arrived we were told we could just pop in to Anna's Kitchen for dinner whenever we wanted. I followed up with a call just before 2pm and was told we did not need to book for two people. We arrived at the restaurant just after 18:30 only to be told that they were full and that I had been "misinformed"! We waited and they did luckily make a plan after I complained.

We were told on arrival at the hotel that I could order a "breakfast box" for the morning as I would need to leave early and that it would be dropped off that evening. I didn't think to ask what time, but it arrived shortly after 10pm. That is quite late and again I would not have asked for it had I known it was going to be so late. Although, I was awake anyway due to the circumstances.

Just after 10pm, after the box had been delivered, I went down to reception and asked if there were any rooms I could move to that may be slightly further from the music, only to be told that they were fully booked.

I realise I could have asked some questions to make this process a bit smoother. Just a heartbreaking experience all round.

Stayed for 1 night in a family room with 2 kids. Big, clean, spacious room. 2x double beds with fresh linen, fluffy pillows and aircon.
Big en-suite bathroom with bath & big shower. Plenty of fresh bath towels provided and complimentary shower gel, shampoo and body lotion. (Pity no face cloths.)
Enough coffee/tea/sugar amenities in the room.
Big screen tv - with variety of channels - cleverly hidden.
Ample safe parking inside, with a guard at the gate.
Restaurant is beautiful & stylish. Variety of choices on the menu - Egg Benedict, sandwiches, burgers, salads, cereals etc. Fresh fruit, croissants & scones also. Juices, coffee & teas.
Staff is friendly & helpful.
Will definitely recommend this establishment.

The staff was helpful, friendly and made sure our every need was catered for. I slept over and attended a course at the venue the next day. The room is spacious, there is amply supply of coffees and teas, and I loved the bar fridge and microwave in the room. Our venue for the course was spacious, water bottles were replenished as often as needed, and the food and snacks were ample and tasty.
