On service, they stop serving breakfast at 9am and cannot bring breakfast to your room so be ready to wake up early in order to get breakfast. Also how it was communicated to is was not polite. They really don’t go out of their way to help.

Cleanliness was ok, I just wish they would leave our personal effects alone. They would move our stuff into drawers and handle/move around all our personal effects.

Value was ok, but taking loadshedding into consideration, there was a huge reluctance to switch on the generator, which they have.

Location is very good and convenient.

The bed was comfortable, only that in winter more heating options should be made available. We had to buy hot water bottles to supplement the radiator on the wall as it wasn’t sufficient.

Rooms were ok, the room we got was different from the one we booked and no communication was made to us on that but the room was fine.

Pecan Tree Guesthouse is in a very quiet, secure area. The location for us was perfect as we needed to be at St Stithians Aquatic Centre each day (for 4days). The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable and the hosts were very friendly , supportive and helpful. This is certainly great value for your money. Breakfast was delicious especially the omelette prepared by Maria. We will certainly be back and we would not hesitate to recommend it to friends. Good provision has been made for power during the regular load shedding time slots.

Hi overall it was a good stay, I felt the cold and the wall heater was not effective at all. Consider an option of gas heater or airconditioning.

The room was cold and all we needed was a heater. Pease understand

The guesthouse was excellent. They catered to my small requests easily, all processes were smooth. I needed to phone when I first arrived as it was loadshedding. Thereafter the remote I was given worked perfectly during loadshedding. Some plugs in the room (TV, laptop and phone charger) are powered during loadshedding while the kettle and microwave in the kitchenette are (for obvious and valid reasons) not. The building itself is a bit old, but the bathroom has been newly renovated. The breakfast was brilliant! I will definitely be returning to the Pecan Tree.

The staff were friendly, kind and very accommodating. I was under the impression I had booked the studio but on arrival we were given a double room. The neighbours dogs barked incessantly other than that the place was neat, clean and tidy at all times.

Stayed there for 12 nights and couldnt have wished for more. Pamela and Maria were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfasts were excellent, room was kept spotlessly clean and everything was there that we needed.
Felt very safe, so all in all excellent and would thoroughly recommend

We enjoyed our stay. Very good breakfast and good value for money. Peaceful and comfortable and we felt safe there. Will definitely stay there again. Very close to the Mediclinic and close enough to Cresta mall and other areas.
