Always great friendly service and rooms are always clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are always attentive and friendly. I have been staying here for about 10 years, purely because of the quality consistency that is upheld.

City Lodge Katherine Street is located in the heart of Sandton close to all the major attractions which are within walking distance. The hotel rooms are cosy and comfortable. There are 2 good restaurants at the Hotel Complex. Breakfast is good.

City Lodge Sandton, Katherine Street. Excellent hospitality. The staff was friendly and attentive to my needs at all times. The room was kept spotlessly clean. Duty managers were always smiling and the food was fresh and not being recycled. The Gym was also well maintained.

Room was good but restuarant service terrible. Large corporate group bookings take preference over individual customers. Waited 90 minutes for a simple food order with no explanation given. Hotel accepted huge student group booking and then couldnt cater for the numbers .

I felt like the most important guest staying over at the hotel, as the staff made me feel most at home and were most friendly. They constantly asked and checked on me, if I needed anything and the room was well appointed and clean on arrival.

First visit and never again. Rooms are not well maintained from a maintenance perspective. Stayed for the week and on my 1st night had to request another room due to the noise of the air-conditioning. I cannot believe that the team here are not aware of the noise and you still felt it ok to place me in a room like that for a week and there were plenty other rooms available. I person having dinner one evening mentioned to his friend that he always requests a room on a specific side due to noise so definitely they are aware. So besides having to walk past stinky socks in the passage and having your breakfast messed up, the last straw was this morning. When going for breakfast I was asked by a staff member to get something in my room. I could not hear her and said ok and waited. The lady walked in opened my curtains and windows etc and started removing the bedding. My goodness I have not even checked out yet. This was at 8. PS Terence and the breakfast manager are awesome. They know what customer service is.…

Had a great stay at the City Lodge Sandton. The room was spacious, neat and clean with stylish furniture and finishes. The interior of the hotel is of a very high standard. Great breakfast with lots of variety. Room service was prompt and staff assisted with friendliness.
