The hotel foyer seems to come alive at night, but not in a good way. Drunken patrons, and scantily clad girls hanging out at the bar. No place to eat dinner safely- except in your room. The staff and the food were good through. The room simple, adequate and clean enough. The cleaning fragrance was a bit overwhelming in the room.

Excellent throughout. Rooms are spacious and bedding comfortable A small fridge would be a big bonus. Tea and coffe facilities is added bonus. Very handy when you return from being away while day. Otherwise beyond my expectation. Parking secure.

As a guest from Namibia, I recently stayed at Road Lodge for three nights, and I wanted to share my experience with fellow travelers. Overall, the hotel offers beautiful aesthetics and has a friendly and helpful staff, which contributed positively to my stay. However, I must address a significant concern regarding the control of noise within the premises. Upon my arrival, I was immediately impressed by the hotel's elegant design and the warm welcome from the staff. Throughout my stay, the employees were attentive and willing to assist with any requests or inquiries, making my interactions with them enjoyable. Regrettably, I encountered an issue with noise disturbances during my stay, which greatly impacted my ability to rest and relax. After experiencing a sleepless night due to noise caused by other guests, I expressed my concerns and requested a cancellation and refund. The hotel offered an alternative solution by moving me to another room. However, the experience in the new room was even worse, as the noise levels persisted and disrupted my sleep further. As a guest, I believe it is essential for a hotel to maintain an environment conducive to rest and tranquility, especially during nighttime hours. While the hotel's staff was responsive to my concerns, the noise issue was not effectively resolved, ultimately leading to an unpleasant experience. I sincerely hope that the management addresses the noise control concerns promptly. It is my belief that by prioritizing the peaceful enjoyment of all guests, the hotel can provide a truly exceptional experience. I would recommend that the hotel management takes immediate measures to address this issue to ensure a restful and comfortable experience for all guests …

Road Lodge Sandton has a great location, clean rooms nice staff and nice garden and lot to walk around and relax. Bird enthusiasts will particularly enjoy the visits in the garden in front of the pool. Breakfast was quite good and great value for money.

The hotel and staff were lovely but was amazed that they only supplied breakfast from their kitchen. If you wanted evening meal you order room service which comes from sister hotel City Lodge and they bring it to your room or they can drive you to their restaurant. The TV and the bed were small although it was very clean. As the room was small we looked for a lounge or somewhere we could read during the evening but there was only the breakfast room with hard chairs and poor light for reading, The pool was dirty, although the area was quiet, it did deter you from using it.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment our karate team arrived until they left. From providing a sumptuous breakfast to storage of the teams luggage after they checked out of the hotel. When the last team members had to wait for their ride to the airport (late flight) they were given popcorn to help pass the time and feed the hunger pangs.
