The Business lounge was not working. The check in took 45 minutes. Printers not working. Booking appearing with central reservations but not appearing with hotel. The overall check in experience was very poor and hotel did not have working facilities

I had a great experience with them. Free shuttle service to Sandton city, their quick intercoms response. Every where is so clean and their staff are so polite, friendly and competent. I’ll rate everything 💯. They beat my expectations and made my holiday experience in South Africa so stress free and Fun. I’m going back in December.

Great location, amazing and helpful staff, Ntombi really looked after us! The meeting room was perfect for our requirements and the rooms were really comfortable. The gym could have been better but was functional. Will definitely be back.

Was in the 1 bed apartment with a balcony. Staff was absolutely nice all the way through. Keep it up you guys. It was clean and everything was just great. Very few occasions i got a house keeper who didn't clean well enough or replace the toiletries but a call to housekeeping sorted it out.. Breakfast was okay too and the few times i had dinner the food was good. Would definitely go there again.

Fantastic stay, was there for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the time there. My room keycard stopped working every two days then i had to go to reception and that is why i am givung 4 stars and not 5. The chocolates when leaving was a very nice suprise as well

I received the worst reception from one DanielaG. Not sensitive to the fact that I was a solo traveler and gave me the farthest room even though there were superior rooms available closer to other amenities, which I had paid for. Thank God one Siyabonga and another lady came to my rescue and had me allocated another room. My checkout experience was also the worst with the same DanielaG. Not the best person for front desk and dealing with foreign clients🤦🏾♀️ The Kelsey restaurant staff and meals were pleasant always as well as all the other staff, but my bad reception set the tone for my entire stay 👎🏾

I stayed with my family and everyone really liked the room and meals. The receptionist was very attentive and spoke Portuguese which was an extra facility. We will definitely come back. Hotel is excellent, the room is very large, cozy, accommodates a family with two children quietly, the meal is very good, of great quality, I suggest having lunch at the restaurant, the receptionist was very attentive and speaking Portuguese, which made it easier for us who are Brazilian

On a recent business trip I needed a venue that was convenient and which would allow me to work from the hotel - whilst a great supporter of Tsogo Southern Sun, I had not stayed at the Katherine Street Hotel previously and was astounded at the levels of personal attention,comfort and service excellence. The mix of guests was interesting, from foreign tourists, general visitors and business folk, all seemed entirely at ease and exceptionally well accommodated. The restaurant and adjoining seating areas around the pool and gardens provide a perfect area to relax and or dine with guests and staff attention to detail is exceptional. The hotel is small and offers ideal access to O R Tambo International, Sandton City and business districts of Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg.
