Worst experience I have ever had in my life. There was a bus full of people who felt the need to party till 3h45am this morning didnt get no sleep as they were shouting at the top of there voices, slamming doors and the so called security guard on the premisus got drunk and decided to start singing at the top of his voice at 2am this morning. The special as you walk inb says R300 but was charged R490 very bad experience and will never go back there again

Great value and neat as a pin. The room though sparce and reminiscent of a cruise ship cabin, was comfortable and had everthing needed to ensure a good night's rest. The lack of a breakfast option was sad but understandable due to Covid restrictions.

The guy at the reception on our arrival was very welcoming and friendly, Nhlanhla, he took us to our rooms and showed us around. He even gave us great tips on places we could visit just for fun, I'd absolutely come back again should I go to Santon anytime soon.

The lady at reception on Friday evening needs coaching in customer service. She was rude, abnoxitious, and xenophobic. She could see payment was made on line. I have 250 members of staff, who travel regularly and hence our need to accommodate them affordably. The attitude of this rude receptionist means we will never use SUN1 again. We will also be writing and blogging about the same. By the way when you have taken payment online, why do you then need to take an imprint of my credit card. This is a security risk and forbidden almost everywhere else in the world. Should m card have subsequent fraudulent transactions, I will sue SUN1. You own staff could use these imprints with criminal minded persons to create duplicate cards. Your rude receptionist would not hear the same and hardly listened. Lastly, I have stayed in 7 star hotels across the world regularly but never been asked for passports for everyone of the persons being accommodated. I gave my ID details and paid by credit card - why then do you need the passports of my staff? All in all my experience was pathetic and poor, almost entirely because of the attitude of your receptionist who is a complete discredit to SUN1. I have had the energy to write as I was pissed off but can imagine many others have simply decided to move on. Had I not paid in advance online, my staff would have stayed elsewhere. That is certain. Please coach your staff that the customer pays their wages and must be respected.

Even if the breakfast is outsourced it needs to be improved and value for money must be considered. Some times we want to leave early for work because of the traffic and the breakfast is open at 06:30 and you have to leave without breakfast when you have money in your account.

Value for money. I recommend this to anyone. Location is fantastic. Not far away from Sandton Gautrain station. Suburban location is tranquil. However, management must watch the issue of deposit taking for guest to receive services.
