Detailed Reviews
We spent 4 nights at the Oasis hotel when we were sight seeing in the Johannesburg. It truly is an Oasis. The location is totally peaceful - the gardens are delightful and there are plenty of different places to sit and relax - inside and out. Our room was excellent but what really made the place are all the little touches - the gift of fruit and flavoured waters, the lovely bath products, the courtesy teas and coffees and cakes etc. The owners do everything they can to make you feel like a guest in their home rather than a visitor to a hotel. I can not recommend it highly enough. I would also note that it would equally be an excellent place for business visitors as there is good internet service throughout the hotel and grounds and it is very well located to access the freeways to get into central Johannesburg, Central Pretoria, the Sky Train and the Airport.
Treat yourselves you won’t regret it.

Awesome Quiet Accomodation in the heart of Sandton, with amazing hosts. Easy living and peaceful in the gardens and surrounds. Rooms are maintained daily with high class finishes and never have the stress of load shedding with a generator at hand.

+1
We have stayed here for 5 nights. My daughter joined my business travel and we selected the house because of the safe environment and the beautiful garden where my daughter was able to hang out during my work times.
And we were not disappointed at all.
What a lovely family that runs the hotel. They guided us very well prior to the stay and during the stay and took good care of us. Extremely friendly staff.
This is not a sterile, modern business hotel. Lovely decorated, a place for people that love smaller hotels with charm. You feel at home and welcome.
Warm and cold breakfast, fresh fruit, juices and whatever you can think of. Breakfast is cooked fresh and not kept warm, plan some time for this so you can really enjoy. During the day you can always get coffee, tea, bisquits and sandwiches for free. The bar is self service, you add your consumption in a list. At night, if you want to eat in the hotel, you can most days pre-order a delicious dinner from the menu.
Beautiful garden with comfortable sunbeds, small pool and 2 lovely cats that always stay quietly in the background. BTW - people that do not like cats at all should better not stay here. But who does not like cats???
We stayed in superior deluxe room nr. 14 on the ground floor, facing the garden. In this room you can separate the comfy beds. The room was a bit smaller than it looked on the website but this did not at all bother. The bathroom had a great shower, no bathtub. The sink was a bit small but again, this is nothing that bothers if everything else is so nice. Upon arrival there was a welcome basket with wine, fruit and some sweets for us. Good quiet aircon which we only needed one day. The room itself luckily does not get too hot.
Whenever we have a chance to come again we would definitely choose Oasis again.
Thanks a lot for the good time!

I was lucky enough to get a long term stay at this beautiful hotel. There's a hint of what you can expect when entering the front gates. From xxpertly manicured lawn, cosy lapa and and inviting pool.
The Reception area and just about every space is exquisitely furnished and you get the sense that no expense was spared in getting the right pieces for the right space. Your room and private spaces are treated with the same Luxurious flair. Free Wifi is always welcomed when you are away from home, just remember to connect to the appropriate access points when moving through the hotel.
Gray and Anita have been wonderful hosts, THANK YOU!
If i can give fellow travellers one piece of advice, opt for extra chilli on the side should you choose to order breakfast :-D

I stayed here for a week recently and It was fabulous! A complete Oasis of calm and luxury just 20 minutes from the heart of Sandton! The hotel and gardens are immaculately kept and service is of the highest order! The owners are warm and engaging and very quickly make you feel so comfortable and at home that you may well feel that you are meeting up with old friends. The honesty bar is well stocked and snacks are available all day! Breakfast is truly amazing and the hotel also offer delicious options for lunch and dinner at extremely reasonable rates! My room number 3 was spacious and well laid out and was extremely clean!
I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and I look forward to returning in the future.... 5* in every respect!

Beautiful tropical garden around the pool. The house is a museum of pictures and artefacts collected by the owners. Everthing celan and very well maintained. The owners live in the building adjacent to the guest house. Exceptional breakfast in the dining room. The food is delicious. Very flexible with late checkouts. A moskito net on the windows or over the bed would be an attractive alternative to closed windows and airconditioniing.

The rented the deluxe room for a month and were very satisfied with excellent amenities and optimal service levels. The internet and media services were also optimal. The use of a whatsapp messaging system enabled us to update the hosts as our plans changed on a weekly basis. The staff were always discrete and professional. The location was ideal for us and near to the main northern areas of Joburg's thoroughfares and highways. The hotel also provides a very welcome back-up electrical generator service so we were able to avoid the worse of Eskom's level 6 load-shedding.

This was our third visit to this gem and we would certainly go back again. It is peaceful and well run, nothing is too much trouble, we are treated like members of the family, especially by our host, Grayham. There is a friendly, welcoming ambience and we love the decor. Our favourite room is number 2, looking out over the garden with the sound of the little waterfall and the birds chattering. Perfectly located for our needs too. You should definitely visit here, you won't want to leave
