The food , drnks and menu were great. However when it cam to my room I wasnt very impressed. Firstly my TV was not working, I requested assistance twice before someone came to help me. They came anddidnt fix it. I had to ask for assistance again. It was after my 4th request that I finally got assistance and even then it only had one working channel. The shower pressure was horrible. I could only get one quarter of my body washing at a time- left the shower very cold. I would definitley recommend it as a place to have a meal/ drinks but in terms of stay over its a no.

Booked two of my work colleagues here due to our offices being just around the corner. Hotel is not yet complete but very modern and staff helpful and friendly. Service at breakfast is quite slow, probably due too the functions that seem to be happening. The function venue seems to be taking priority at the moment as breakfast place seems understaffed. This can be forgiven as a new place needs to settle down. Will definitely recommend this new establishment

Stunning Datenight❤️

Absolutely wonderful evening with fantastic service and exquisite food❤️

We arrived, hoping that they would have a table for us, as we had not made a reservation 😳

They were absolutely fantastic, showed us to the best table that was reserved...and made us feel absolutely welcome, even though the restaurant was full 😊

We ordered a yummy wine whilst listening the fun, LIVE music and thought that it would take a while for our order.. We were happily surprised, when our food arrive in record time🌹😊

I ordered the beef Espetada, rare, with their seasonal veggies. 🌹 It was delightful and perfectly prepared🔥 My husband ordered the Pork ribs and wow😍 Equally succulent, melt in your mouth, exquisite 🌹

We finished off the night with their delicious chocolate brownies and Ice cream and a second bottle of wine🔥

Our server, Sharon was respectful attentive, thoughtful and extremely helpful🌹Loved the way she looked after us❤️

I would highly recommend their restaurant.

Ps...cannot wait to experience their Datenight, Couple special 😊😍😊

My Co used this hotel for the first time for a conference. First night of check in we are informed we need to check out 2 days later (we are supposed to be there for 5 consecutive nights) as the rest of the party was only arriving then and our rooms will be reshuffled?? Same night I get an email saying we must check out the next morning, and check back in 2 days later. very confused and worried as we would not have accommodation for 2 nights! after several hours the next morning we were informed that they will transfer us to a different hotel for the 2 nights and we can return after. didn't make sense as we booked for 5 nights, consecutive - not interrupted. huge inconvenience. then later (rather last minute) we are told that the confusion has been sorted and we can remain in the hotel and in our same rooms for all the nights.
Service is a bit slow. Dining area on 1st floor had 7 guests and we waited nearly 20 minutes for our basic breakfast.
Bin in the room not emptied for 3 days. I had to go down to reception and ask them to have the bins cleaned.
Coffee and toiletries not replenished in the rooms for the entire week.
Good thing, beds were comfy and restaurant on the roof was great. Staff are friendly.
Kitchen could have stayed open a bit longer as they closed at 9pm on Sun due to it being a slow night. A bit difficult for clients to eat when they could only check in at 9pm due to their flights.
Not a great start when business is looking out for new possible venues.

I had my 40th birthday party at the hotel on the 1st of May with 28 guests. The hotel charged me for additional meals and for a number of drinks that were never delivered. Over a two week period I questioned this with Gugu, the event manager and have been ignored since tthen.i doubt any refund will be coming or any further communication from Gugu.

Lastly the chicken starters were raw.

Not a great experience at all.

Dinner at oko restaurant: disappointing at best:
1. very slow service:
We waited more than 30 minutes for everyone to get a drink to start with
2. Serving not up to standard for what you pay:
A table was prebooked for a specific number of guests, but neither enough cutlery nor correct amount of champagne glasses were at the table. The glasses were also just randomly placed around the table. For a restaurant to be called a restaurant, certain basic levels of service is expected.
3. Very basic dessert menu without any diary-free options. The waitress also did not even try to accommodate our lactose intolerant guests.
4. Overpriced:
Our friend who paid for the event, was charged quite a substantial amount, but the number of what was eaten and drunk, did not add up to that amount.

We didn’t stay at the hotel (loved the decor by the way) but we went for drinks and dinner at Oko Restaurant. Firstly, the setting is beautiful! So lovely to have a rooftop setting with a view sipping on our delicious cocktails. The service was fantastic to start with but got a bit slower as it got busier (understandably). Our waitress Gladys was a gem! We ordered the sushi because people have been raving about it. We eat sushi A LOT and even though the flavor and taste was there, the rice was just too stodgy and heavy. Sushi rice should not be like this! We mentioned it to the waitress and she says no-one has ever mentioned it. We were not hungry after that but had such food envy seeing all the amazing dishes coming out. We decided to order the Salt & Pepper Calamari starter with chips on the side. All I can say - it made up for the stodgy sushi! It was amazing! And so was the hot sauce that came with it. Yummy!!! All and all a great evening out with good food and service - what a treat! We will definitely be back soon to try the other mouthwatering dishes.

Not easily found but needs some recognition.
Not far from Lifestyle Garden centre or N1 highway route north or south off Beyers Naude off-ramp.
Beautiful modern design.
Safe parking.
Free WiFi.
We enjoyed a delicious coffee night out looking out at the views at the OKO restaurant.
Served with friendly service by Micheal .
We had a cappuccino and decaffeinated cappuccino with a delicious slice of Lemon Meringue.
For locals this is a treat outside of a Mall.
Prices are fair.
My photos show my meal and view from lifts going up to 6th floor.

Had the most amazing stay at Blueberry Hill Hotel. Staff is awesome, rooms are a very nice size, great technology at the hotel. Extra bed options in my room for kids. 👍🏻

Seamless check in and check out. Restaurants have great service and the food is really prepared well. Latest conference facilities, huge and small rooms.

Parking is so convenient, and the hotel staff welcome you as if you were part of the BB hill team.

I would definitely be coming back to stay here again. Ryan and his team are doing a great job in an awesome part of Joburg, beautifully tucked away form the buzz of city life.

I would highly recommend a visit here and check them out.
