The property is situated in a secure estate, overlooking a park. Our room was relatively small, but the bed was comfortable ... there are larger rooms available. Our host, Memory, was great ... and she looked after us throughout our stay. It's a perfect getaway for a couples weekend away and excellent value for money. The location is also perfect if you are visiting friends or attending a function in and around the Pretoria area. My only real complaint was that it is advertised as pet friendly, but it's not suitable for medium to large dogs (we had our German Shepherd with us). The floors are polished wood, so your dog will make a lot of noise and slide all over the place, and the pool area is astro turf, so if your pet needs to go you have to take it out on the road to do so. If it was just the wife and I, I would definitely stay there again, but not with our dog, and I would choose a larger room with split level air conditioning, rather than the noisy portable unit that we had in our room. Just one further comment, the rooms are looking a little tired, some maintenance is required.

High class rooms and 5 star service. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were huge and the furniture top class. There were two fridge freezers for us to use and one had on it's shelves various alcoholic and soft drinks that were very reasonably priced. The dining room was large and nicely laid out and our breakfast was perfect. The operations manager served us and was genuinely friendly. Definitely a place I would recommend.

We enjoyed staying at Ambonnary Terrace Guest House very, very much. The food and hospitality are simply outstanding, as is the location, the view from the balcony, and the decor. We particularly enjoyed the birds and the guest house dog. We wouldn't dream of staying any place else when we visit again!

It's a great place to stay. Very homely and owner friendly. Rooms are comfy and spacious. They have a honesty bar with a variety of drinks non-alcoholic and alcoholic. Highly recommended. Very centrally situated in Pretoria.

We were lucky enough to spend one evening here on our way back from safari in Madikwe.
The house is gorgeous and the hospitality is first-rate. We were in room #5 and views, linen, bathroom, quiet and patio were perfect. Loved the bathtub too.
Breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented. Bonita is the chef and hostess and quite talented.
They arranged for transportation to dinner so we could drink and drive (Salt at Hazelwood was delicious).
Highly recommend!

Stayed here for two nights whilst working at Pretoria Country Club. The place is fabulous, along with the staff. Super friendly and accommodating. The guy even got up at 5:30 to make me breakfast as I had an early start. Highly recommend this for people visiting on holiday or business.

Beautifull accomodation, kind hosts and a truly amazing breakfast. The terrace has a great view over a valley. WiFi is perfect ! Our host was kind to print us a map. Just a 5 minute drive from a mall. A pleasure to stay here for sure!

The house is beautiful and the host was most obliging. Breakfast was continental and English style which was well presented. We missed home comforts like an electric blanket. The Tv offered a full Dstv bouquet which was a pleasant surprise. Dinner was also available and we enjoyed the food.

Thank you for your lovely review! I am sorry to see that you felt the room was chilly. We do try to keep the rooms warm with 2 heaters, 2 extra blankets and hot water bottles. I hope you will visit us again and definitely request more blankets if you do feel cold. Warm regards, Bonita
