This is a very cute and homy place to stay. We were welcomed open heartedly. The owners are very friendly and they accomodated our late arrival, which was very much appreshiated. We stayed in one of the wooden cabbins by the pool. Everything was neat and tidy. We only experienced a few hickups: the gas geaser cannot supply enough hot water to take a 5min shower, keeps on cutting of. The toilet was situated in a very akward place, and a bit small as we were not skinny people. The bed in main room is a bid small. And the one bed I slept in on the top floor was a bit worn out. Other than that the beds are very cumfy. The cabbins arent very sound proof and me as a light sleeper were woken up with every our by the church bells. We would defenitely make use of this place again for just an overnight.

I grew up about 3 km away from this place, so it was with a sense of sentimentality that I visited Ciara.
From making the telephonic booking, organising a very weird check-in time and arriving at the lodge, the lady I dealt with was friendly and very efficient.
As stated, I arrived late evening and had to depart very early so I didn't get to enjoy this very neat establishment to its fullest.
The room was spacious and well equipped for my needs. The walls are a bit thin and I felt sorry for my neighbours when I had to depart at 5 am on a Saturday.
This place scores very High in my books and I will recommend it without a doubt.

The place is nice inside. We don't know about the outside, as we stayed there only at night. Cosy place with full kitchen. The place is well maintained and we felt save and secure. The lady was very friendly and helpful.

Thanks Ciara Lodge for the warm welcome, efficient service, clean and well equipped lodgings. I would definitely come and visit again. Nice wooden chalets with a well manicure garden and swimming pool. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

After a dismal stay at another BnB, on our previous trip to Pretoria we were rather afraid of what we would find. But what a pleasant surprise. We were met on our arrival with all documents prepared and a quick efficient book in was ensured.
Our chalet was all prepared for our arrival with a jug of fresh milk for a cup of coffee. That was really appreciated. The chalet was clean with clear instructions and information in the room. The kitchenette was fully equipped with all the bells and whistles one would need. Lovely gardens with abundant bird life. The pool was sparkling and the facilities for the kids were all well maintained.
Thank you for a pleasant stay. We have booked our return trip already.

Beautiful venue. Love the little wooden house's. Had an fantastic stay. Swimming pool for the kids. You forget you are somewhere in the city. Will definitely book again. Although be selective when requesting your accommodation. Wooden houses are not for long stay. There do provide bigger more spacious rooms that are more suitable for longer stays.

We stayed at Ciara Lodge with our 4yo son and would absolutely recommend it. Close to all the Pretoria has to offer and yet in a quiet suburb it is the perfect place to relax and unwind as well as tour the area from. From our warm and welcoming reception by Carolien and her staff on arrival to the absolutely beautiful surroundings, Ciara Lodge is exceptional. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxed. Not somewhere suitable for those looking for a lively party experience. However it is an amazing place to stay if you would like to recharge your batteries and spoil yourself. We stayed here after a long flight and for the first few days of our tour of SA and it was perfect.

We stayed in Kudu cottage for 2 nights and wished it was for more. The lodges are delightful with interesting small touches such as carved wooden and metalwork animals around and about. Comfortable bed in the main room and our lodge had a mezzanine floor with two good sized single beds. Everything was clean, neat and good quality including bedlinen and plentiful towels.

The Bathroom is neat and clean with a good shower and a bath. Plenty of hot water and some nice complimentary shampoos etc.

Kudu Cottage also has a small but very well equipped kitchenette with a large fridge and a handy gas cooker. Attention to detail is high at Ciara Lodge and we found a jug of fresh milk in the fridge along with tea and coffee supplies. Each lodge also has a braai stand and the kitchen has all the utensils you could need.

The swimming pool area is exceptionally pretty and although communal is private and quiet. Our small son enjoyed himself thoroughly and the pool is very clean. Security is very high but unobtrusive.

There are local shopping centres within a few minutes drive for all you might require plus the usual Mr Delivery food service and you are very close to most of the tourist attractions in Pretoria. There is plenty of parking and Ciara Lodge is easy to find.

Our only very small (tiny!) niggle was that the wireless internet service can be weak (in our lodge we had no signal but maybe not the same in others) and perhaps some extra repeaters would be a thought to provide better internet access.

We plan to return to Ciara Lodge for a longer stay during our next trip to SA. It’s a little bit like heaven!

Ciara was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Pretoria! The room was very clean, yet homey. We stayed in the Pebble Chalet, and loved it. We will definitely stay here again when coming back through!

Located in a residential area the Ciara lodge is a beautiful location made of different Style houses in a common park with swimming pool-which we didn't use since it was winter. All homes have a fully accessoriated kitchen. The one I shared with my friends was a cozy two-storey apartment very comfortable, maybe just the bathroom was a Little Small.

"I stayed in the room which did not have kitchen, as I did not need/want to cook. But it did have a fridge where I could store my drinks/fruits etc. It is a B&B (you cook your breakfast), so, ask for the room with kitchen, if that is what you want. Otherwise also, shopping mall with plenty of eateries is within 2 km range, which comes very handy."
