The guest house is located within short distances from amenities which eliminated travel time and traffic delays for my stay. I enjoyed the tranquil setting and the home-from-home feeling, echoed by the staff and their professionalism. I was able to take long safe walks sharing the road with other exercisers. Definitely will be back in future.

I found the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. also child friendly as had swimming pool however could have more playground equipment for those for long stay. The rooms could have been more of the same as some rooms had no cooker so had to wait until one finish cooking before could start cooking. i did fel that a menu should have been provided for breakfast. also a varity of cereal should have been on offer each morning instead of only 2 choices that was provided also i was only told the last week that the coffee machine was working when this should have been on all the time. also as a tourist visting it would have been nice if there was brocures of places to visit, where to change currency things that i would have not known be on offer.
Overall i did enjoy my stay there. it was nice been able to come and go as we please as i understand in some hotels have to wait for secuirity to let you in and out. as i have a young son i would choose your hotel again

We stayed at the Tuis Huis as it was recommended to us. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the toilet which flooded our room on the 1st night.
The hotel sent an engineer to repair, then it flooded again the 2nd night,
We were very cold and very fed up.
Moved to The Sheraton.

We needed comfortable overnight accommodation after a family wedding. The venue was more than adequate for that. Although the room was completely wheelchair friendly the terrain to the room was not very flat and the dining room was not accessible by wheelchair. Luckily my mom could get to breakfast with assistance.

Our stay at Tuis Huis Lodge was perfect. The area was perfect, easy to get around quick cause it's close to Highways. The Lodge has all the amenities and the staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. It was a real home away from home. Would definitely stay over anytime.

We arrived late but the owners were there to welcome us. We were upgraded to the Diamond Room and felt like royalty. Room and bathroom were both spacious and luxuriously furnished with attention to the small details. (There was even a supply of homemade rusks - wow! they were delicious!) Breakfast was excellent with a more than adequate choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juices, coffee, tea and warm dishes. There was a coffee machine available to the guests at all times! The garden was an absolute oasis for the soul and at any time during the day you could visit any of the shaded spots and unwind in the peace and serenity that surrounded you. The owner and her dedicated staff are congratulated on a lodge second to none! We will be visiting again and highly recommend Tuishuis Lodge to anybody travelling to or within South Africa.

Stayed in a 2 bed room place. They seem to have 10-12 rooms around the pool. Pool was not well maintained/clean when we were there - but may be they didnt expect anybody to get into the pool as it was getting cooler in Oct. Comfortable beds, smallish rooms. Bunk bed for the kids room. Kitchen is very small but fully equipped. Host was nice enough to accommodate as we came in late the first day. They have dogs and that was fine with us. Enough place for parking our car, but a bit of a rough walk with our heavy bags to the room.
