Things started off ok, then on closer inspection it was more like cheap squat than a bed and breakfast? The bedroom door looked like somebody had kicked a hole in the bottom, the blinds on the windows didn't close properly and more often than not I had to take a cold shower due to there being no hot water or taking up to 10mins for the water to get warm. The food and drink was very average and over priced compared to everything nearby and if that wasn't bad enough I had a rather expensive item of clothing stolen from my room, when I told the staff it had gone missing it's like they either already knew about it or it happens that often they weren't surprised? Either way they didn't care and did nothing to help, they were just interested in taking more money from me to settle the afore mentioned over priced food and drinks bill!

Very cold and untrained staff members esp the kitchen Staff member not there when you need them, place is severely understaffed Room refreshments are a cheat and you get stained towels as clean Breakfast is bread and eggs, if you lucky an offish tasting sausage. No seconds The owner only greeted white patrons as if we weren't even there Lots of things not working in the room

Booked a week in advance through the website and selected card booking. Phoned them and asked if there's a deposit to be paid due to the fact that I did not see any transactions going off on my card, and was told that I will be sent an invoice with the banking details on (I am yet to receive this email as of 6 Sep). Arrived at the venue, only to be told that the room I booked was re-booked by someone else and was given a Family room as this was the only room available. Was told that I will get a coupon to say sorry (I am still to receive this as well...and I don't expect them to send anything). Ruined our anniversary. Thank you for ruining a night that should have been romantic and special by giving trading the room with an amazing view and hot tub, for a room with a view of a bunk bed, non-working TV, dirty sheets and the sweet sounds of a water pump running right through the night. Also: Breakfast had no options available for my other half whom is pescaterian. (Chicken livers only)

I was recommended to try this place, once the other lodge in silverlakes was fully bookef. I was with my family (wife and little son), then we booked two rooms. #1 they told room had connection, but it doesn't. #2 service was incredibly bad, small crew (one night we were alone in the buildind, no staff, no notice, no restaurant). #3 apart on the beautiful view, nothing more to add. I payd upfront for 7 days, but left in the third, due to low quality service. They refused to refund, same what happened in other reviews here.

The staff were extremely helpful. The two managers took care of all my needs. Went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The food was excellent. Nice facility in quite and safe neighborhood.
