I attended a 4-day conference and was quite impressed. Staff were friendly and helpful - from security who assisted with parking, to the reception, to the waiters at the conference venue. Lunch was a lovely buffet with an excellent dessert table. Conference venue was lovely with all expected amenities. Water and mints refilled after break, tea and coffee with refreshments in the morning upon arrival and again during tea break (before lunch). The hotel reminds me of European hotels.

I come to Manhattan for a weekend stay with the girls. We had a phenomenal stay. Everything you need is a call away. Their food is amazing, the shuttle staff made sure were driven safely and check if we were comfortable everywhere they took us. They are amazing. Their shuttle service is 5 star service. The best hotel I have ever stayed in.

After waiting for our room to be cleaned which was not ready on time allocated, things just got worse as we went to eat. The restaurant had booked a wedding reception which did not allow the paying guest space to eat. Further to this the COVID regulations items of capacity was not followed. It was at 100% capacity with people not waring masks as required by the health department. When raising this with the manager I was informed that we will be contacted by the manager today. Till now nothing has happened.

Dear Manhattan hotel I hereby to inform you that I was having a graduation on Friday the 10th May, whereby we had small snacks in the hall then around half 6 that night we went to eat the buffet which was very delicious I can say but my complain is that I’ve been sick since that night. I ate pap,beetroot,coleslaw,chicken grilled, dumbling, beef stew, geek salad and green beans with mash and also tried the desserts It feels like something is cutting me inside my stomach and I have been going to the toilet nonstop and I don’t know if we ate the food that was not okay or fresh . I’d like maybe the management to always check your food before giving to people because I’m not the only one experiencing this, more that 8 people are suffering and as for me I don’t even have the appetite to eat anything.

Initially I did not have high hopes for this hotel because of its location, however I was pleasantly surprised and proven wrong. The hotel exceeded all expectations, the rooms were spacious and clean, the food was divine and service was excellent especially the well mannered and friendly shuttle drivers. I will definitely come back.

Originally I wanted to cancel my booking, but thanks to the amazing service from the bookings Manager Gloria, i was convinced to change my mind - and I don't regret. From the Reception staff, the Room Service, The Restuarant, and even the Porters, we were treated like Royalty. They showed the utmost of respect at all time. The staff are soo friendly and polite, one actually just wants to stay there again. Iwould also like to thank the Restuarant Manager that wasas on duty, Nice (our Main person for the time we were there) and also Solly and Bongani for exceptioal service.

The Manhattan Hotel in Central Pretoria exceeded many expectations. From the amazing shuttle service and impeccably dressed and mannered drivers, to the food, decor and personal service. We got a family suite which was clean, spacious and just perfect for a girl's trip. Needed to go anywhere just call reception and they book your trip. Room service was exquisite. When last did you eat something without needing to add seasoning. The buffet we had on the first night was out of this world. After a good 28yrs I finally was able to eat the crackling of the pork roast. Yes imagine. Crispy but edible. I was in heaven. Beautiful lounge on the first floor for selfies which I normally don't do but the setting was just stunning. I'm definitely coming back. When a place is this good you'd be crazy not to relive the experience.

Everything is of the standard I need. the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly the food is so delicious and there is a free gym/exercise area to relax your body, mind and soul. I always recommend Manhattan to my colleagues and wish to come with my family at my time. i also would like to get a membership card if there is one. In June 2018 I completed the booklet theyput in each room to rate their service complaining about the telephone which was not working when I tried to contact the switchboard to request assistance. The following day after I left the manager called me and apologized.
