We stayed over at the Orient after our very good dinner (perhaps too many ideas on one plate) with fantastic wine at Mosaic. The breakfast is marvelous, and worth staying over just for that! Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soap, slippers, bottled water are supplied in room. We did request a coffee maker when booking but it was not supplied, so we had to order a morning coffee to our room before breakfast - this was charged extra. Somewhat annoying in Nineveh was that the futon bed had only one night stand with nowhere for the second sleeper to put water, reading glasses, book etc. Oh, and mind your head when you go through the antique door, it is low. Nineveh does have a nice balcony to enjoy a glass of bubbly on. Service is impeccable and we thoroughly enjoyed the…
We paired our visit to Mosaic restaurant with a night at the Orient. I will definitely recommend. The attention to detail, from how you are booked in to the decor is just spectacular. Mari and her team does a amazing job.
We received a gift voucher for the Mosaic Restuarant at The Orient and decided to stay over rather than drive back after a full dinner and wine pairing. What an absolutely amazing boutique hotel. Each room is a delight, the decor is lovingly crafted and curated. The buildings are interesting and the service was impeccable. Thanks to Mari and her wonderful staff and incredibly talented daughter Chantel who is the Chef at the Mosaic which I'll review separately it was so good. It's a little pricy but value for money and a really great experience.
We over-nighted at the Orient having booked dinner at restaurant Mosaic. The staff and service is impeccable, Each suite is unique with an eclectic feel to it. From being greeted at the gate to your departure it is an absolute pleasure to stay. A light snack next to the pool enjoyed with a bottle of bubbly really set the tone for a great visit. We will be back again.
What an experience. We booked in at the hotel to have dinner at the Mosaic Restaurant and both the hotel and the restaurant were out of this world. From the minute driving into the estate it was clear that attention to detail was everywhere. The entrance to the hotel is imposing with friendly service. We stayed in the Marrakech Suite which transposed me directly into Marocco! Just the background sounds from the marketplace in the old town of Marrakech was absent. The lounges and dining area were wonderfully decorated with a wide variety of paintings and sculptures. The gardens are also atreat A wonderful place to stay and I hope to be back.
