The young gentlemen in the help desk and mananger in the 17th morning tried to held but damage done. First arrive to cold room. No milk in 072. Begged milk at kitchen, which arrived in an uncovered glass extremely cold. Wifi not working. Came with my daughter who had an assignment to do. The worst was when I could be allowed to order from the regular menu from for at least for some comfort eating in my room. Hotel policy was not going to make an exception. So there was I hungry, cold and service dept days they had ran out of milk. So I slept on an empty stomach, had breakfast which was delicious because I was hungry. Your service menu for a menu I am sorry needs an upgrade. We were supposed to day extra but I checked out after dinner. That was a financial loss to me.I booked at the Residence the same day 17th and the experience was heavenly. I always book at the Residence because everything is out of this world. The ambience, food, service, deco is amazing. I don't think what I asked for respectfully s was too much. I work in a busy emergency unit dealing with people's lives, so when I need just a little pampering to take care of myself, Kievits did not do it for me. Funny thing I was there before for a stay with some spa treatments. Only the good Lord knows what happened this time😭 …
Not giving 5stars due to a disappointing experience @ Spa.Had a treatment for 3pm&we got lost on our way to Kievits. We called the Spa&explained. Arrived exactly 3pm&had to complete forms-treatment started at 3:15pm&to our surprise our treatment was only 45min. We were penalised for 15min without any communication.
The estate is stunning, gardens are well maintained, location is excellent. Room and restaurant decor and fittings could use an update. It was very cold and the thatched roof did little to insulate the room even with the aircon on the highest heat setting.
Had a lovely 1 night stay at Kievits. Driving in, it looks just like the photos. Incredible gardens and you feel like you have just arrived in the Cape. Rooms are lovely, large and well maintained. If i have one gripe it would be the food. The "fine dining restaurant" is not fine dining and i think elegant dining would be more fair. Service in the restaurant and on the deck was average. We waited more than 30 minutes for a menu but thankfully we were in no rush.
enjoyed my stay, the food and friendly staff. just a few minutes from pretoria town. good for relaxing and escape from the busy life also enjoyed the spa treatments, friendly staff very considerate overall great
having been worn out and drained for energy, i decided on a solo visit/booking at the abovementioned facility. i got accepted but could not do body massage which was my main goal. it was fully booked. the facility is all one desires for a break away. i will book again. thank you
Girls weekend away. We couldn't ask for more. Amazing service, food and facilities. Can't fault any part of our stay. Spa facilities and treatments are highly recommended. The Eastern is well kept. Highly recommended
Kiviets hosted us for a 5 course graduation dinner. Everything was so special and personalised. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. The food was outstanding and so delicious! The flavours were new and exciting but also comforting and hearty. Chef Sivy and Lorretta were kind and accomodating.
Our family of 5 had a marvelous public holiday at Kievitskroon Spa. All bookings were done expertly and we enjoyed 3 hours at the spa. Great now that they allow day visitors to spa! Therapists knew what they were doing and all were so friendly and polite. After this we had lunch at the Granita restaurant and the food and setting was marvelous. All in all a fantastic day.
I stayed 4-7 March at this beautiful, full-of-charm, tranquil resort and was simply blown away by the setting, room turn down and ambience. One of many highlights was the wine pairing dinner -- this is something every couple MUST do. The staff were knowledgeable of each course and the wine served, we were treated like the only people present on a fairly busy night and just made welcome and warmly hosted. the peace and quiet means that one must set an alarm each morning to avoid sleeping in past the breakfast hours - divine fare (champagne and oyster nogal) that one would be crazy to miss. will definitely return for our 45 anniversary!!
