Time of arrival in a conformation earlier in the week wasn't communicated. Manager drunk on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according other guests as well. No breakfast organised while being confirmed. Manager not on scene during the night. No curtains.

Hi there, Please accept our profound apologies. The manger is no longer in our employ and a new experienced manager has been appointed. The manager now lives on site and will be available as required. Breakfast will always be served as requested. Should you come to Pretoria in the future please contact us for a free stay. Regards Devan

Staying here was a terrible experience. We were placed in a different room to the one we chose when booking. This room was dark and felt dirty. I complained and they said the room chosen was not available as the previous clients had left their luggage there and they didn't have a key to get in. Also, there was no available internet as advertised. After speaking to Devon and voicing my concern of the condition of the facility, he gave us his personal internet password so that we could make contact with people we needed to contact. However, being very uncomfortable in the room, I said we would like to cancel our booking. He said this was not possible due to the terms and conditions of the booking. I had paid in advance and we tried to contact the agency that did the booking on line but I couldn't connect clearly with them via cell. We were then offered the original room I booked. This was much brighter. They said the room was cleaned but there were used coffee cups and food packets left by the previous clients in the room. The bathroom had a huge gaping hole in the ceiling due to water damage. A bucket was on the floor to catch water. If these issues were shown on the web site, no one would book there. It is deceitful. Also despite our concerns, there was on goodwill to cancel the booking and refund the booking. I stayed there but will never return there to stay.

I booked our stay at Treetops and Treats based on the photos and we were not disappointed. From our room we could sit and look out at several beautiful, flowering trees. Walking from our room to the breakfast room each morning we passed through the gardens. There were many birds. Overall we loved our stay. Breakfast was served each morning and we had our choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, beans, toast, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, and milk. We sat on the porch overlooking the pool each day and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the garden while we ate a delicious breakfast. There was always someone on duty to attend to our needs, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was refreshingly cool in the hot afternoons. The WiFi was speedy and uninterrupted during our stay. Yes, there are some things that could be improved physically, like the creaky stairs (manager said the stairs were being replaced soon), but these things did not detract from our stay. The parking was tight, but secure. We and the other guests just courteously moved our cars for each other. It just calls for Ubuntu. I'm sorry that others had a problem with their car but it hardly calls for the 1-star review that another reviewer gave, taken in the balance with the rest of the place.

Poor lighting, worn curtains, dirty bath, water on the floor from shower to bedroom, basin and bath drains blocked. Staircase in need of repair, almost fell down from top step. Towels, bathroom mat and curtains very old and smelly. Overall a bad experience.
