Detailed Reviews
What an exquisite and well maintained boutique hotel. Our stay was absolutely blissful. Serene and peaceful environment with a large Koi pond overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens.
Our Suite was beautifully decorated, spacious and with a great balcony view.
The cuisine was lovely and the service was great.
I would highly recommend The Rasmus for special occasions, events, and a romantic getaway.

Unfortunately we arrived late following transport delays so we’re unable to make the most of this wonderful place. Our room was superb, huge and well furnished. Refreshments and fresh milk in our room were very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were all attentive and friendly. We would definitely return here for a longer stay than our overnighter this time. The setting is beautiful and the koi pond is amazing.

+1
My wife and I decided to stop-over at The Rasmus on our way to our friend’s wedding. We booked a luxury room with a comfortable king-sized bed. The room was extremely spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The large en-suite bathroom was modern with a walk-in shower. The air-con in the bedroom, as well as the kitchenette, was very convenient. As tea and coffee are provided, as well as a kettle, it would have been nice if fresh milk had been provided and not just coffee creamer, especially considering that there was a bar fridge in the kitchenette.
Our room also had a private patio overlooking the carpark and gardens.
The property is in an extremely lovely and quiet area with exquisite gardens and a massive koi pond with lots of beautiful koi. There is also plenty of safe secure parking, as the property is walled, with security on site.
The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices.
Overall, we had an excellent 1-night stop-over at The Rasmus.

My wife and I stayed over at the Rasmus last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
What a fantastic little gem just on the outskirts of Pretoria and only 30 min drive from OR Tambo airport.
The staff are very organised and the chef was excellent. The rooms are huge and the decor is superb.
Well done to Carl and Ilsa for creating such a comfortable and peaceful home from home.

We had the privilege of staying at the beautiful establishment. Complete with Beautiful rose gardens, a huge Koi feature, exquisite furnishings in the rooms and a restaurant to write a review about. The food was excellent, staff friendly and helpful and the building built with a clear attention to detail. This is an upmarket establishment offering excellent rates.
