The Guest house was accommodative to people with disabilities as one of our family members required special care. The workers were nice and helpful. The security to the place was top tier and the guest house is situated in a quiet area.

Well positioned for our needs yet quiet and peaceful in a lovely residential area with excellent security. Our room was well suited for a business person and includes a small microwave and bar fridge. The staff is impressive - well trained, friendly and helpful. The inclusive full English breakfast was well prepared and very tasty.

Our family of three, including two adults and a baby, recently stayed at On Clark Guest House. Our experience was truly delightful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our family. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, especially with a baby in tow. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Overall, our stay at On Clark Guest House was a memorable and enjoyable experience, and we would highly recommend it to other families seeking a cozy and family-friendly place to stay.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The linen was nice and the bed comfortable.
However, many, many things were broken. The phone didn’t work, the wifi was weak and kept dropping, the shower rose was extremely faulty, paint and plaster was bubbling and peeling off the walls in several places in the bathroom and bedroom.
The toilet roll holder was broken, and the room in general was very dated, dark and felt dingy.
At no point was I told about the condition of the room or all the things wrong with it. I was walked to the door and that was that. I don’t know if nobody has checked the room, or if perhaps they think that the quality of the room is perfectly fine, or if they don’t care. I’m not sure, but just the peeling and bubbling paint was so bad that there is no way they didn’t know the room and bathroom were looking they way they were, because hat degree of water damage takes months to get to that degree.

We stayed three nights. This Guest House is nice, but something unpleasant happened the last day. We needed a car and a driver for one day. The lady at the reception found a woman driving an Uber car. This woman did not give us the price, in the morning. We went to visit two museums in Pretoria, not far from each other, she was invited for lunch, we came back in the afternoon, and this lady in charge of the car asked for 2500 Rand for the day. The lady at the reception said before that this woman was reliable! In fact, we find that she has cheated us. It would be good if this Guest House does not employ her anymore when someone asks for a car and driver !

Booked my stay 4 months in advance and I arrived with everything in place and expected. The lovely ladies also booked my shuttle for me to and from the airport and ordered food for me when their kitchen was closed. They were patient, understanding and friendly. Highly recommend.

The guest house was as advertised. The staff was friendly, the common spaces were clean and spacious, and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. Parking was easy and secure. The breakfast was available at an early hour compared to area hotels, and hot drinks and an honor bar were always available. 314 on Clark felt like a home away from home.

I stayed at 314 for one night, before a road race I had entered in Pretoria. Everything, from the booking to the check-out was impeccable. The room was really big and well appointed, Cynthia at the reception desk was personable and helpful. The suburb is lovely, the actual property immaculate. It's a beautiful, easy well-oiled machine and I would certainly return.
