Totally neglected. The street view is impressive...once you walk in it is dark.No lights ..steps that you can not see...it is dark because the receptionist said that they are saving electricity. Rooms are a disappointment .

Made a booking at Brooklyn Guesthouse for the 5th of May. Confirmed late check in. On my way from OR Tambo I phoned them and told them I am on my way. Was told they can’t help and I that I should make alternative arrangements. Person who answered the cellphone number is very rude and not helpful at all. Terrible service, would not recommend to anybody

Thank you Brooklyn for waiving the cancellation fees when we cancelled our accommodation in March due to travel ban. The school sport tournaments were cancelled. Very efficient in your correspondence with reservations and cancellations. Hope to visit in near future . Appreciate that the travel ban is going to have a big impact on tourism . Stay strong

We were placed in a large guest house which we had to ourselves. The place was huge, with multiple spaces indoors, a full kitchen, private and semi-public decks and patios. My room was huge and well appointed, as were most others. One was still large, but smaller in comparison. The grounds felt secure and we nicely appointed with areas to sit or wander though some trees and foliage. Artwork throughout gives it an arty, somewhat Bohemian feel. The hosts took extra care to meet my needs, which was greatly appreciated.

In my opinion not aimed at business travelers at all Room 26 allocated to me was basic . reminded me of a dorm room at best. No fridge , safe, fan , aircon and only very basic tv ( Openview channels only ). Wooden floors and revamping next to my room made the stay rather noisy.Great gardens and mostly friendly staff dont make up for bland food and scramble eggs on the menu every breakfast - gets boring after 4 nights. Parking can be a problem as the area is small.Internet is very good
