I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Goodey's Guesthouse. I love the peacefulness and just how clean and comfortable it was. The the food and service was superb and I love just how accommodating they were and making sure I got everything I needed. I love the fact that the place is located on the same street as the embassies which made it easy for me to just walk down the road to go apply for my visa. I 100% recommend this place and I am so happy to have found it. Thanks to a friend for recommending it.

The guesthouse is located in a secure location showcasing beautiful Jacaranda trees and an ambiance of peace and beauty. The reception was marvelous, and even though their online payment system was offline, we were allowed to check in and the lady trusted us enough to pay as we were leaving. The clean spacious superior room with spa bath was worth the money and I definite must visit again.

What a fantastic guest house! With a gracious, patient hostess, Hantie, a superb breakfast and room finishes and amenities comparable to the Mount Nelson or the Westcliff (minus the odd English wallpaper) : you will feel like a real baller everytime you stay here! At the price of an old French formula 1, you get beautiful BIG rooms with bathroom warmers, huge naughty showers, minibar with coffee and tea Station, dstv. Aircon with warming, a lovely area to stroll and think... Even if this is more than 10km from where you are doing business or travelling for leisure you won't be sorry you booked here. I believe in lifting deserving hospitality properties, especially in this time of Covid and economic difficulty. BOOK AT GOODEY'S and prove me wrong or have the biggest smile on your face when you arrive there.... Near Hatfield, Menlyn, Varsity bakery (wink!) and of course less than 10 minutes to a gautrain station.

This time around we were only here for one night and like the first time we visited it was wonderful. What we loved and appreciated most was that they could accommodate our children for their delicious breakfast at a very reasonable price. When our daughter graduates again we will definitely stay at Goodey's Guesthouse.

What a great luck when I booked this amazing but so affordable guest house! The hostess Hantie is gracious and very patient, the rooms are BIG with finishes and amenities comparible to the Mount Nelson or the Westcliff (minus the odd English wallpapers) and the breakfast which is included is sumptuous and perfectly cooked to your specifications. So close to Hatfield, Menlyn and (yumm!) varsity bakery and within 10 minutes of a gautrain station I was absolutely delighted. I believe in lifting fine hospitality properties like these, especially now when the economy is so poor. Feel like a real baller when you book at Goodey's. Prove me wrong or arrive and post a pic of the huge smile on your face.

We stayed in the family room and it was very well equipped and perfectly clean. The guesthouse is situated on a beautiful tree-lined road close to the embassies. Our hostess was really friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make the vegan breakfast something special. There are also two bars and a lovely outdoor area with a pool for guests to socialize. Would highly recommend it.

After reading the reviews we chose Goodeys and wow it was everything they said it would be! Breakfast was delicious, our 13yr old son says he wants the recipe for the omelette, excellent hosting, very safe environment, one would expect to pay more for such a beautiful place. When we asked for directions to the mall, the Union Buildings, etc they were spot on👌 We will definitely stay at Goodeys whenever we visit Pretoria. Hopefully we will get exactly the same rooms.

We selected Goodey`s Guesthouse for our wedding night and expected it to be perfect - it exceeded all our expectations. We arrived very late, yet the owner waited up for us with a welcoming smile. The room was absolutely beautiful with only the best furnishings and a very good bed. Wonderful bathroom and hot tub in the room - the place was just immaculately clean - there is literally nothing that could be added to the room to make it even better. The house itself is in a very quiet area and is a beautiful old mansion reflecting a lot of class. We were late for breakfast, but they reopened the kitchen and treated us to a very good breakfast. The staff and owners could not be more helpful and friendly. The other facilities on the property is also top class. This is a place that we will re-visit if in Pretoria again and we will surely stay for a second night.
