Booked this through our organization as it’s the closest hotel to the office. Warmly welcomed by staff at check in and quickly given room.
The room was clean and neat and well appointed. A bit small but suffice for one person.
The furniture and fittings seemed new and fit in well with the decor.
The bathroom was clean and tidy with a huge walk in shower which you had to be very careful in. When the water is running in the shower the floor in the shower is really slippy. Numerous times during my 5 day stay I slipped numerous times, even while being careful and being careful with my footing. Someone really could hurt themselves badly if they slip in the shower and there are no emergency pull cords so it would be difficult to call someone if you do fall and hurt yourself.

The breakfast offered was good. Plenty of hot and cold buffet choices, but the wait staff hovering around to take your plates away as soon as they are empty, is a bit annoying.

This is a good hotel in a great location close to a couple of grocery stores and good restaurants.

Just a couple of things to note.

Upon checking in, I was told I had to pay for my whole stay immediately, so I had to pay for the full 5 nights up front. In addition, I was not permitted to add any charges to the room. I was made to pay for everything immediately, including food and drink consumed at the rooftop bar. Being a Marriott Bonvoy member and as our organization uses this hotel a lot and as you can easily pre authorize a credit card, why make us pay in advance and nor permit charges to be added to your room? Rethink your policy.

Secondly, my room on the 4th floor continually smelled of grilled meat all the time. I know that the hotel is above a Rocco Mama’s restaurant and opposite a steak place, but the smell permeates through the room and corridor and there is nothing you can do about it.

I will stay at this hotel again, without question, but hope that they take into account the above.

I was travelling to Namibia and used this hotel for an overnight stay. It is about a 35 minute taxi ride from Johannesburg airport at night. Almost all the distance was on a secure highway. The hotel is located in a very good location in Pretoria, next to a sports stadium. The central part of Pretoria was an easy 5 minute ride away.

The hotel is in fact located in a complex with a sports stadium, restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery, and other amenities. It is very secured as it is cordoned of by fencing and security.

The staff was pleasant, greeted me and smilingly gave me my room details. I had a beautiful clean room with fresh bedding, a shower, some amenities, and a good night's sleep.

There was a nice sky bar with good late night food and music. It was nice sit in the bar and enjoy the Pretoria Skyline. There is a pool in the roof.

Breakfast was a good spread. It was a nice experience at this hotel.

The hotel has a contemporary feel to it, check-in was effortless. The staff were friendly, and the hotel is very clean. I was happy with our room and the view of the complex which includes various restaurants, a gym, shops and a hospital. You don't have to include breakfast in your booking because you can easily walk to any restaurant of your choice around the hotel.

Modern contemporary hotel in a minimalist style. On the plus side good location near Hatfield, new property, parking complimentary. On the negative we had requested interleading rooms on a high floor through the Marriott website and confirmed on the phone. On arrival neither was allocated and we were told no interleading available and apparently more expensive. Daughter had to stay in a different room. Also not fans of the minimalist decor. Breakfast is pricey.

Dear AxidentalTraveler001 Thank you for the feedback posted. I am sorry to hear that we could not honour your request for an inter-leading room as all requests are subject to availability at time of check in. We provide a full buffet with a selection of hot and cold items, juices and unlimited specialty coffees included in the price and currently is on special over weekends at R 145.00 per person. There are a few restaurants in the shopping Center that offers a la Carte breakfast options for the not so hungry travelers. I trust that this incident will not deter you from staying with us in the future and we look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel soon. Sincerely, Etienne Potgieter General Manager

Parking is a joke to stary with. You park at hotel parking but enterance and lifts osed. Which means that you have to walk woth your luggage through shopping area to do a check in.

From there rooms are cramp with the aircon not working.

Inroom dinning but no menu in the room.

The number for roomservice not working so you have to phone reception to get someone to bring a menu to you and give you a number to dial to get someone.

That takes 5 min before someone picks up the phone.

Our tv channels not working. Apparently the whole hotels tv is off.

Best to book at any of other hotels in the area which we stay at frequently whoch offers os much more qnd then at least the basics like tv and room service.

Must have been the worst stay in years at a Hotel. Wow

Good Day alexstarbuck Thank you for your post and the feedback you have provided. Due to the many precautionary measures taken during the Covid-19 pandemic, we have restricted the access into the hotel and access is only available through the main entrance where vehicles are permitted to park, drop off luggage and access the hotel. This is in order to do a health screening upon arrival and to restrict access to those individuals who show any symptoms. This is in place for the wellbeing of all our guests and staff. The access from the parking is a mere 20 meters from the hotel entrance and I am sorry you ended up taking the wrong route to the hotel thorough the adjacent shopping centre. Due to DSTV implementing changes to the bouquets offered to hotels many hotels experienced an outage on the 30th November 2020 and this was restored speedily by DSTV on the same day. Thank you for the information regarding room service, I will most definitely investigate the matter and correct the short comings. Please accept my most sincere apologies for any inconvenience cause. Sincerely Etienne Potgieter General Manager

This place is not a 4 star. The room has thin cheap towels. Products are limited just one face wash, shampoo, conditioner and a soap bar. There was match at Loftus every restaurant nearby was packed. We waited over 45 minutes for a veggie wrap it was cold, tasteless and frankly horrible. We complained. We gave up waiting for a manager.
The restaurant was empty! (Not suprising). The left hand definitely didn't know what the right hand is doing. What a shame....such a missed match day special opportunity.
Lethargy and frankly disorganization rules here. It's a 3 star and a lowgrade at that. What's good. The beds, the shower....free parking. That's it! Oh and the Sky bar is fun....that's it!!

Could not be happier with this hotel selection. The quality and friendliness of staff service was outstanding. The hotel is centrally located and has multiple restaurants within a couple minute walk + a pharmacy and supermarket (Checkers). Parking is in an underground, secured lot and complimentary for hotel guests. Even though it’s centrally located and next to, what appears to be, a stadium - it is still very quiet at night.

Hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Complimentary breakfast in the lobby is a hot buffet with plenty of selection.

The rooms are spotless and in excellent condition. Enough hangers and clean bathrooms. The service at dinner and breakfast is friendly and it is clear employees in the dining area do their very best. The manner in which they address you is efficient and respectful yet friendly and professional. The manager is hands-on and involved with her guests. This is not my first visit, nor will it be my last. Thank you!

I was out in PTA for a work trip. We booked at this hotel and I had theeee most pleasant stay.

FIRSTLY: please pass my thanks to Linda, Siphokazi and Edward at Reception for their service. They went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, especially Edward for helping me with the charger ... I really appreciate it 🙏🏾

Your rooms were clean and nicely furnished. I didn’t have enough time to explore your in-room entertainment unfortunately but I had a nice cocktail at your rooftop bar.

Continue doing the great work you’re doing, I’ll recommend your property to friends and will surely come back again.
