#32 of 105 in Pretoria
The hotel opened its doors in 2009 as the Holiday Inn Express Pretoria-Sunnypark. Over the years, with the differing requirements of the local and international markets, it was decided to rebrand the hotel in order to offer a more substantial conferencing and Food & Beverage offering. Thus, we welcomed RH Hotel Pretoria on 01 July 2019. The tallest building in Pretoria, the 25-storey glass and steel RH Hotel Pretoria sits atop lively Pretoria Sunnypark Shopping Centre, just 2km from the heart of the city. Gaze at the city's urban skyline and the mountains beyond as you cool off in our outdoor pool. Relax in your modern guest room, a peaceful haven with free wireless Internet away from the bustle of the city centre. In the evening, join friends in the vibrant bars and restaurants clustered around pretty Hatfield Square. Bask in the sunshine with a hearty buffet breakfast on the RH Hotel Pretoria's terrace. Safety and convenience are catered to with our secure, direct access into the Sunnypark Mall, using your guest key card. Hassle-free shopping, entertainment, fitness and dining options await you. Enjoy a la carte lunches and dinners at the new Vibe Restaurant, or indulge in Vibe's delicious buffet dinners. For those who would rather stay in their PJs in front of the TV, make use of our 10h00 - 22h00 Room Service Menu.

I wouldn't really have chosen this kind of hotel, as I prefer smaller and more family accommodation, but the place where I booked made a booking mistake and they placed me here. We struggled to find as the parking is not really close to the main entrance on ground floor. Nobody told us to drive 6 levels up... The rooms are standard and equipped with the essential. I didn't like the fact that they try to charge you 25R of parking every time you get a new ticket... I assume it is convenient for those wanting to stay in the middle of town, as it is quite centrally located. Not really found of the shopping mall atmosphere, but again, this is my personal opinion.

A hotel review is normally based on one or a few nights stay, which statistacilly is very unreliable. However we stayed at RH Pretoria 17 nights! And we very much appreciated the personal approach, friendly staff, good facilities and absolute value for money. There were minor faults, which were quickly corrected. All together we very much enjoyed our stay. A great asset is a shopping mall in connection with the hotel. This hotel has 3 stars. I would rate it 4. Rather a 3 star hotel striving for 4, than a 4-5 star hotel not caring.

This hotel is built into the mall so there are lots of shops and inexpensive food locations for the traveler. The hotel also has a rooftop pool and a nice restaurant/bar (breakfast is included!!) and the price for a stay is reasonable. My one frustration was that the A/C in my room was so weak and the sun shone straight in so that during the day it was always 75degreesF or more. The staff was wonderful and I felt safe and comfortable in the clean room. There is no shuttle service from the JoBurg airport included in the stay, but there is a service for which you can pay extra and he does an excellent job! (He also offers safari packages and trips elsewhere in the country).

The hotel is easily accessible. It has enough parking. The meeting room was very spacious and the atmosphere very excellent. The meals were beyond expectations. Absolutely delicious. My only concern were the rest rooms. One has to take a key for the rest room. The rest rooms were very clean. my concern is to have to touch a key to the rest room. Research states that more than 50% of people do not wash their hands after they have been to a rest room. Other than this it is a great hotel.

Loved the location of the hotel which was within 10min drive from Tswane events center. The hotel is also ideally located with shopping malls located down stairs fitted in well with doing last minute shopping in between sessions at the events center. Will definitely call again whenever i am in Pretoria.

One would believe that since it’s in the heart of the busy Sunnyside, Pretoria it will be noisy and packed; well I was proven wrong. Very clean, spacious and comfortable room. Easy access to Sunnypark mall by using your room key card...basically you go party downstairs and literally go back upstairs to your room and enjoy your night in your cosy room. Breakfast was nice, not too much variety but nice. Staff was good. Excellent stay overall

Welcomed with great smile by Front Desk staff. We booked for 2 adult and 1 child for 1 night. The guy who helped us when we check in, allowed us to make a choice of convenient room for us and He requested one lady to prepare a couch for my son. To my surprise that couch was sorted out within a minute by such a humble lady. Noise was controllable. Our room and common areas were clean and buffet breakfast was delicious. We were tempted to even stay one more night because of this guys excellent services. Parking lot is at 6th floor..........and it is a struggle to get there. Driver learner will not manage to get there. Overall service, beside this parking issue is wonderful....keep it up guys....

The hotel is write at the city of Pretoria. Definitely for people who are not staying long, not for leisure but for people coming in and out for business. It’s clean, very basic and accessible to town. I wouldn’t stay longer than 2 nights
