Booked an impromptu long weekend through the holiday club.Staff are friendly,especially the ladies working in the shop and kitchen.Toasties from takeaway shop are great value for money and convenient when you have hungry teens. Chalet was neat and tidy with a great view. Bring and braai at pool on Saturday night was really well prepared and grounds are well kept.I will definitely visit with them again

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, perfect for family vacation. this place accommodates kids Aswell. the pool area is so spacious and lots of activities for kids. definitely a to go place for family,

Location is very good and easily accessible from Johannesburg. Housekeeping is of very poor quality. Bath towels are only changed after 5 days ,and a charge of R 50 for each towel if requested earlier. Units are old and need of TLC.

Did an RCI exchange and didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 6 sleeper room. One bedroom downstairs, one upstairs and two single beds upstairs too. There is a bathroom upstairs and downstairs, the downstairs one has a bath and shower. Room was a little dated but clean and fully equipped. Towels could be updated too but they were clean. A small patio with a built in braai was great. The pool is fantastic, the little shop had everything you might need and there is plenty of things for the kids to do.

The location on the website is incorrect. They sent an incorrect pin drop The toilet in the bathroom was leaking and the floor was wet when we arrived although the room had been prepared. After a repairman was sent the leak stopped and the toilet could not flush. The mechanism was broken. The carpets in the all the bedrooms were filthy and full of stains. The tiles upstairs were cracked. The “leather” on the couch was torn.

Rest assured, your comments were shared with Management who informed that the location concern has been corrected and that the upstairs areas across all the units have been retiled. Management also informed that Maintenance was attending to the concerns regarding the bathroom and that the offer was made to move your party to a different unit for the duration of the stay; although this offer was turned down. If only this place had a 10 star rating i would definitely give it a 10 out of 10. The place is amazing, the activities are free, everyone was friendly and welcoming,the studio had everything that one could need. We indeed had a lovely time and would run at the opportunity of going there again. On the 27th there was a bring and braai where the resort provides the guests with pap and gravy and all we had to do was bring our meat to braai, I found that to be awesome. My partner and I are definitely going back again and for him it will be his fifth time.

My fiancee and two of our friends had an awesome weekend at Manzi Monate. a good place to go if u looking for a peaceful getaway! Every staff member we encountered were very friendly and hospitable especially "Happy". loved their daily fun activities. The chalets and grounds are well-maintained and serviced daily.

As two Pensioners we enjoyed a lovely quiet and pleasant 4 night "Mid-week break" at this well maintained resort which was only an hour's drive North from Johannesburg. The pool area was the "focal point" for sun-bathing etc as our Chalet (No 27) was shaded by trees etc which is perfect for mid-summer, but a little dark and cool for early Spring in South africa ! The chalet's facilities were all very comfortable although the outside dining table would probably be quite cold for winter guests ! Every staff member we encountered were very friendly and hospitable. Would definitely stay there again ! …

The chalet is lovely! It's surrounded by trees and lovely green lawns. Very quiet which suits me well. If you have a family traveling with you there is quite a bit to do. I've been cooking and the kitchen is well equipped. The only thing that is lacking is WIFI. They do have it at the kiosk but if you need to get some work done it's not really a great place to do it. There is a shopping center very close by with a fuel station, a small restaurant, liquor store and a grocery store. There is a variety of shopping centers and malls within about 10 to 20 minutes. There is a very short drive on a dirt road but it is well maintained. The security is good and I felt very safe traveling on my own. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Manzi Monate has different sized chalets which are all very well equipped and have everything you need to be very comfortable. The chalets and grounds are well-maintained and serviced daily. any maintenance issues were sorted out very quickly and efficiently.There is a beautiful swimming pool as well as a children's pool, games room, tennis court , trampolines and mini golf. The children's animal farm drew the interest of the little ones. Watching the mother peahen and her chicks strolling around the gardens made you feel you really were out in the bush and not a 15 minute drive to major shops!
