Must visit this restaurant, have a full meal with a starter, main and dessert. Picture perfect and the chef knows what he is doing. Worth every cent. Can extend their wine offering, however tranquil and beautiful hidden

I had a lovely stay at one of the pods. Only issue really was the insects. Other than that I had an absolutely amazing time. The food was delicious and service was quick. I enjoyed walking through the maze as well

Rosemary Hill has a lot going on. Restaurants, cafés, wedding and events venues, bike trails, walking trails acrobranch, distilleries etc. I think it is a wonderful place for a family day out. It is aesthetically beautiful for kitchen teas and/or 21st birthday parties. They also have beautiful modern cabins on the farm for far travellers. We did the 10km walking trail. It is extremely easy and dog friendly. Their food is great, my husband and I shared a bacon and cheese burger, I highly recommend trying it.

Rosemary Hill Farm makes a great week-end away from Johannesburg. There are plenty of things to do - acrobranche, mountain biking, hiking, horse riding,... all of which are super family friendly. The rooms have been tastefully decorated and are extra comfortable, warm and well equipped. There are 2 restaurants to chose from (currently closed in the evening due to covid) but the staff went above and beyond to provide a dinner alternative : pic nic in the room on one evening and candlelit braai on the other. Huge shout out to the stables as well who accommodated our group and ensured that we could all ride together and that the more experienced riders could canter in the side fields.

Well managed, well maintained. Friendly staff, good food, popular with the mountain bike riders and families. Plenty of activities for the entire family, even Nguni Cattle. Will definitely come back again.

Rosemary Hill Farm is very popular amongst the mountain biking community, as can be seen with scores of bikers crowding the facility early mornings over weekends. In you only want to visit the restaurant, rather stay away over weekends. Although the quality of the food is not bad and is rather Good value for money, the poor service and long wait (which is understandable with literally hundreds of bikers cramping the restaurant area) makes a visit less than desirable. The staff is not trained well, do not know what is available or not on the menu and there sub-standard service is backed by an unfriendly, not caring manager.

My brother, cousin and friend headed here for mountain biking. We had not been here for about a year and had heard that the course had been redone. It was awesome plus their homemade lemonade and potato wedges are a great treat. For mountain biking, the say pass is R40 and the course can go up to 33km.
