The receptionist on arrival was extremely welcoming and thanks for employing such a lovely lady .
But the rooms were not as expected as per the Tsogo sun standard, smelly carpets. The service from housekeeping ..oh.. you even forget that you requested something-it took 2hrs to bring xtra bed linen and the following morning we left 3hrs later since we requested an iron and was never given nor brought to the room.

Enjoyed my stay and I was allowed to check in after midnight because I came after preparation for a funeral the following day. On the day of checking out, me and my wife overslept and was late for breakfast. However, we were served breakfast by the kitchen staff, notwithstanding that the breakfast room was closed then.

Friendly staff! Great and quiet place! Slept like a baby😂 I enjoyed the pool. It’s super clean. Great value for money. StayEasy is located close to SunnyPark shopping centre & Sterland. convenience right around!

We checked in very late a few nights ago and boy that was the longest check in we have ever had in our lives! when we finally got into the room the room wasn't properly cleaned! the toilet was dirty and the previous guest's dirty underwear was still in the room. I know this is a budget hotel but not to this extent! Dirty underwear is just disgusting. We called the receptionist/night auditor and told her and she quickly offered us to move which we were ok with.
The receptionist sent the security guard, to our surprise he started asking us what was wrong with the room and asked to see what we were complaining about, impatiently we showed him and then he took us to the next room. Like that wasn't enough the key cards he brought was not even programmed so we walked all the way to the room and we couldn't get inside. The security guard then had to walk back to the front desk and we had to watch him model his way back to the elevator with no sense of urgency whatsoever!
The following morning at breakfast we were stopped from entering the restaurant as the room was booked under one person! We told the receptionist that the room was for 2 people when we checked in, both of us were even there at the front desk with her when we booked, paid and checked in how can this booking be for one person?
The new lady at the front desk apologised and when we got in the fruits on the buffet were finished and I kindly asked the lady chef for some fruits and she told me that she did not have anymore fruits as she was waiting for orders to be delivered! We don't want to speculate however this is just too lame of an excuse how can the whole hotel run out of all types of fruits? she honestly made us feel like we were bothering her so we just kept quiet and let her be then she took the whole bowl away back to the kitchen.
NB. this was our second stay here and the point that I am about to raise is very important. we don't eat pork and its so unfair for you to put the chicken sausages and pork bacon in one burner and cover with one lid and the pair of tongs that are used for bacon are exactly the same as the same ones used for chicken! Please respect other people's dietary requirements.
The hotel is very comfortable however service needs to be improved!

The staff were friendly. The room was all right with clean linens. The pool was well maintained. Handy location to Pretoria Railway Station. It was a pretty good choice for the budget hotel. However, there are no eateries nearby. Disappointment was housekeeping service. When we checked in our room, we found leftover food from the last guest. Next morning, the housekeeping lady knocked our door and tried to clean our room at 9am. Then I knew why I could find the leftover food in my room. The housekeeping was done too early (before the guest checked out). So I thought the hotel should have better arrangement with housekeeping service.

Visited this hotel last year on work trip having already stayed 2 nights previous at Holiday Inn Sandton.
Its like chalk and cheese how miles apart they are.
Even though Holiday Inn was not entirely smooth sailing it was head and shoulders above this so called 1 star of a hotel.
1. Check in was terrible.. the staff at reception was non existent in welcoming attitude and felt like we were all a burden on them.
2. Got to room and its rather dingy but you get what you pay at this price.
3.Aircon was not working.. no phone to call reception had to go downstairs and ask what was wrong at reception.
4.The hotel was full to bursting, something was happening in PTA that week. The noise throughout the night was so loud... shouting in the corridors, banging of doors, this went on all through the night and at no point did anyone from the hotel intervene. Terrible, worst night ever.
5. Breakfast next morning was disgusting.. cold breakfast with those pre made scrambled eggs that looked congealed. Now for the terrible bit.. the juice in the large serving bottle was nearly empty of apple juice and instead of filling it with apple juice , two of the hotel looked around and assumed no one was watching, then they preceded to fill up with another type of juice. Not bothering to empty the apple juice
This had me worried about what other corners they were cutting in the hotel.
Never ever stay here.. not if you want service, sleep and good breakfast

Free buffet breakfast. Rooms are spacious. Internet is fast and easy to access. Ice machine. Accessible by most food delivery services. Peaceful at night and safe. The easiest to operate air-conditioner and way too powerful. Front desk staff members were helpful.
